@Rambambino1 have to agree with you there..i remember going to see one of his concerts after he released Rainbow Children and he only played 2 hits I knew, the rest of it was jamming mainly..then went to see him at the O2 Arena and it was so much better because he played a lot of well known hits and he's continuing to do that..the problem is that he isn't producing the same quality music anymore, just churning out 1-2 every year..he should cut down on the quantity and focus on quality..

the chick @ 8:01 was feeling the rain that night, ..lol well if you had any kind of soul what so ever prince inspired and moved thru you in the mid 80"s with his brilliant music but after his 1985 tour he just went downhill and hit bottom on the quality of the music and touring and wasen"t worth the price of admission as stated by some people. but purple rain will live 4EVER!!!!

This is one of the tamest Prince songs I've ever heard. He's so quiet in his music. He speaks in Spanish about his heart. He sings about his fears of losing his love. He's almost sounding like Carlos Santana. He credits SheilaE on the drums. THEN, he goes a little Prince-like, but still sounding like Carlos. THEN, he goes right into Purple Rain! I think it's his tribute to the women who have been with him, and made him the man he is today! Kudos to Prince, and his girls.

my two cents.. first of all how Prince wasn't inspired 2 do a REVOLUTION RE-UNION after ]this riveting performance - love the fullness Wendy and Lisa give to the songs - Wend & Lisa's vocals on "Te Amo Corozon" gorgeous harmony and then Wendy guitar riff on"Fury" and Sheila E's percussion took the song up 20 times the album version.. then Sheila is looking sexy as heaven with the short cut..
