Helm was a founding member of The Band.. best known for their 70's songs "Up On Cripple Creek" and "The Weight"... and was one of Elton John and Bernnie Taupin's favorite musicians. The lyrical content of the song is not "about" Helm.. just titled after his name. @yahoopl3 oh of course, because putting his mouth against the mic increases the amount of echo being applied to the voice... i don't know how you think the signal path goes, but it doesn't work like that. he puts his mouth against the microphone head like that to increase proximity effect, ensuring that the bottom end of his voice sounds like it should....get your facts checked. that is all.

When I was a boy and I first saw Elton he blew me away then, now Sir Elton is the best at what he does. Experience is displayed here, I saw him when his sound was raw, now we have a full production. I love Sir Elton because he put our blues and gospel in his music however his flare is awesome due to his keyboard playing. Remember Billy Joel was our hero.

First of all I am not trying to shove anything down anyone's throat. I simply state Bible truths and it is up to each individual whether to consider it or not. Second, what you or I would like to believe doesn't really matter. What God has said in the Bible is really all that matters.That is what we will be judged for. no, you are stating things for yourself the way you interpret the bible and are judging others. There is only one who may judge, and that is god himself. It is not up to you to condemn others for their beliefs. It is the duty of christians not to shun others for their beliefs, but rather to accept them and try to lead them to the way of christ.
