  • Hi, do you know how to remove or lower that echoing that occurs on several patch on the juno? You know, when you press down one key and the sound seems to fade away with an echoing sound.

  • Great playing!! I use the Juno g for trance too and it's great. I think the patch is pulsatron but not sure.

  • does this have to connected upto speakers ? or does it have its own speakers built in?

  • @nasa06

This is a professional synth, so no speakers built in...you need external reference monitors or high quality speakers.

  • damn nice vid mate

  • What voice is this.. also why doesn't it arpeggiate up the triad, it just arpeggiates the not.

  • @BenUriyahMay

I forget the patch, but the 'arpeggio' is played by me, so its a different kind of arpeggio...

  • Very cool. It has multi volumes with touch right??

  • Very cool

  • Hey, Does It Have Weighted Keys ?

  • @MBAZ100

No, its semi weighted and NO aftertouch. However, you can program effects in the 'Release' part of the envelope so you can get special effects when you take your hands off the wheel...Hope this helps!

  • @MBAZ100

I meant take your hands off the keys, not the mod wheel, lol!

  • cool!

  • Good work !

  • excellent demo and playing, as already said there are not that many good demos of the G, I use mine mainly for piano bt I remember using that exact patch on a track somewhere.....thanks for reminding me!

  • This is a hell of a nice keyboard. I've had mine for a bit over a year. Good little demo. also.

  • i dont like the presets on my juno g, nor the expansion set of the XP series they give us ....

but it's pretty much obv that this synth has great potential , i can make pretty good patches with it ...... though funnily the preset patches that i use the most turn out to be GM patches - which cant be tweaked - x-( i dunno why ?!?

you've shown a great demo of this synth....

i need help on selecting presets for each purpose and then tweaking them properly ! does anyone have the "fantom tweakbook" ?

  • I was terribly disappointed when I got mine, I was took in by the hype, but now, with great Demo's like this, i see the potential. The presets were not very good, but with a bit of tweaking. Why do most Demo's Show the Piano patch, Anyone would think it was just a Piano, people want to hear Synth sounds from a synth, actually, the Piano was crap. and didn't live up to Rolands usual Quality. if you are good with synths and programming, this synth, is really good. maybe, not for beginners. LOL .

  • Fantastic! I loved your performance.

  • omg I love psy trance, this arp you played sounds like astral projection- people can fly

  • does it just delay? hmmm...i want to make nice psytrance music, but i don't want to have to get hardware when i have perfectly good software to do the job! so, i've been looking over the internet for arpeggios. this is purdy good!

  • Yes, I used a delayed preset patch and tweaked it a bit.

I have owned softwares and hardwares: in my opinion, hardware synthesizers (even digital) sound warmer and richer than most softsynths which have a different sonic quality: clear and sterile.

Softsynths have their own place in my music, but I would never get rid of a rich, warm Roland hardware synth.

  • I have a Juno G for sale and it is as new in the bix with less than ten hours use. I am looking at an original Prophet 5.

The item is in the UK so if you want a good deal let me know.

  • There are so many shitty demos for this synth on YouTube but at last a demo that shows it's potential and doesn't sound cheap and toyish. This workstation is quite capable of some serious sounds if you can be patient enough to mess with the cheesy presets.

  • Your comment settles me down :p

Shit i've heard is pissing me off, I need to hear some electro stuff, im between the Korg TR 61 and Juno G.

  • Wow, Excellent !

  • Very nice harmony.

    PS. I have Juno-G too...

  • pulsatron pad from pulsating section:)

  • I am thinking about getting one of these. But I wanted to know. Do you get to write your own arpeggios? rythem and all?

  • nice one buddy.......

  • wow... the first one was awesome! keep up the good work

  • numba 2!!!

  • Awesome

  • Complex wild! Top rift with broard harmonics

and well defined resonance delay. Keep up the

good work! PS: will you ever play an extended

version of the high tempo style arpeggio?

  • Complex wild! top rift with broad harmonics

and resontant delay, Keep up the good work hope to see more!! PS: will you ever play

    extended virsion?

  • dude, omfg that first one sounded amazing! the second one was great too, but the first was my favorite lol Great job!

  • Great sounds ¡¡¡ regards from CHILE ¡¡¡ Duet ExtrañO 2007 .-

  • I'm trying to learn piano, but I don't think I'll be as good as you.

  • Nice sounds brother! Keep it up!

  • Are those based on minor triad structures?

  • You are awesome!!

  • Search Youtube for the game Deus Ex Music, seriously it sounds almost alike and I really love the sound.

Could you make this into a soothing mp3 or something?

  • Dude thats damn nice!! Hope to see more Trance synth videos :D

  • Hi pal, they are both great! Korg TR has sampling expansion and Juno-G has 4 audio tracks. Korg TR has unique spacy Korg sound, Juno G has great vintage Roland synth sounds. TR has dual arpeggiators, Juno-G has a highly programmable arpeggiator. They sound quite different and have different advantages, so if you have the money, its good to get both!

  • Thx dude. Unfortunately, i don't have the money to get both, but eventually I will. The question is, which one to get first :)

  • thats cool dude! which should i get, the korg TR, or the Juno G

  • I am DYING to play Radio Ga Ga on one of those beasts!

  • Thats pretty sweet dude...

  • sometimes arps ROCK!

  • in3rcia, the definition of 'arpeggio' is a series of notes that is actually a broken chord or notes in a scale. So yes, what I am playing is an arpeggio, albeit less repetitive and more complex. The patch is delayed, but you have to use delay to your advantage; I would like to see your video about an arpeggio as to what you have in mind :)

  • Thanks for your comments guys! I haven't had the time to post compositions (original or covers) yet because of my busy family life as married man. I will keep my to post some stuff in a few months!

  • On the website digitech :D good job

  • wow! amazing! in3rcia, where is your video smartass? your just jealous u talentless fart!

  • LOL!, i have the same keyboard and that's just a delayed patch, lol ¿arpeggios?

  • I like. Manual arpeggiation is the best. Organic Digital!

  • fantastic! sounds better slower, ive been doing stuff like this for years on my ps1 (music 2000), its crying out for strings, drums etc. lovely sound.

  • delay ..

  • great! try to cover "let there be light" that would be awesome

  • bravo!!!!

  • WOW

  • Dude, this is good... You should think about turning it into a full song... Start off slow, and then graduelly work up the tempo with some BG beats... I would love to hear it man. Keep up the good work :)

  • I love the cdjs in the background

  • AWESOME

  • Yes it is.

  • Awesome

  • People can fly! Love it!

  • Its not completely Astral Projection. I have combined Astral Projection, Yahel and other Israeli psytrance music...I am a big fan of Isratrance because it musically advanced and complex soundwise. I like JM Jarre too...I might try to cover the Oxygene!! Thanks!

  • WOW! Until now I just thaught about buying a Juno G - now I definitely will :D. Great dude! Did you already try to play J-M Jarre songs with your synth?

  • Nice... I love the "autotrance" patch in perform mode on the Juno.

Also, the "searing cosm" patch sounds good appegiated.

  • im in a state of ravvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Woo!! You rock!

  • what synth are you using?

  • He is using a Roland Juno G

  • fucking insane, good work mate!

  • contd...it has only 4 audio tracks for inputing external sounds or wav samples; i don't know why more is necessary. Ofcourse you can send it all via usb to any good sequencer software.

  • and again, amazing. Of course is not so difficult to play that...and you know that. But is suberb the effects made with this Juno G. I am really impressed. Is possible to record more than 4 stereo audio tracks? Or the Sonar will do that on PC?

  • Thanks. Its not difficult to play compared to classical, but it's always a challenge to compose isra/psytrance melodies (when compared to eurotrance which is pretty easy to make). The effects are not any different than the standard effects. to be contd..

  • Superb! Vince Clarke forever!!

  • damn very interesting indeed

  • Pretty cool man... keep working on that... thanks for your comment..

  • Thanks folks! I will post a full-featured song/s when time permits!

  • pretty cool man;)

  • Man i'm impressed, you have any songs out? And rightly so i'm impressed I should have gotten those damn classes...

  • Thanks! I never had any official piano classes, except learn a few chords and scales. I learnt to play mostly by ear.

  • You're pretty good!

  • Yeah, very good for "self taught" take care

  • muito bom cara!!!
