If you haven't done this already, it will clear up space. Knowing who Charles is and what he does, he probably uses the internet on his phone a lot. 1. Enter Settings. 2. Click on the Safari tab. 3. Scroll down and click the Advanced tab. 4. Click the website data tab. 5. Scroll down and click the View All Sites tab. 6. Delete all sites that you don't consistently use. I'm not sure how much space that'll free up, but it's woth a try.
