Used to be a real fan of Burton, now I am not so sure anymore. Considering they are closing the Vermont facility to have them made in Austria. Funny how a company started in America, was at the forefront of the snowboard revolution, made snowboard during the late 80's early 90's era when snow resorts hated snowboards and boarders, only to turn tail and run to Europe when things got financially tough. Burton did not used to be all about the quest for the Almighty Dollar, things change i guess

my 1998 Johan Olofsson is made in canada, but thats because burton makes anything you buy from there in USA is made either in canada or in the states, but if you buy it in europe it is definitely made in China because every deck I have seen here is made in china, and I would imagine that probably some of those decks are then printed in the States to say made in canada, or USA

All of the Vapors, T-6s, X8, JJ, and all other top of the line boards are made in South Burlington, Vermont, USA.
