is it hard to hide bigger rings? I have alot of peircings..this one is one i want in particular. im actually piercinng it once my needles come through. should i put a small hoop in it? or would i be able to hide a big one because i want a big one (:

I pierced mine myself yesterday and I put a laborer retainer cut in half to hide it

I'm 6'1 and everybody that i work with is shorter than me which means they can c up my nose do u think they would b able to c it if it was hidden

@ProjectPatuhh probably not if you don't have a giant ring in. my ring is very tiny! when I have it down some people even think it's a booger..hahah

@maggieTHEnaive Thanks, I got it pierced 2 nights ago. Its a 14g idk if thats what you got but yea its pretty small. When I have mine down it tries to flip forward. Did yours do that at first?

@ProjectPatuhh mine was a 14, now the ring I have in is a 12. I never had a problem with mine flipping forward.

@FuckNormality well I have two different rings but neither of them have the little balls on the end, but I have a friend who flips hers up with the balls on it so no, I don't think it's necessary to take them off.

@maggieTHEnaive ok thanks :) and what do u do with the aftercare? can i just use normal alcohol-free mouthwash for cleaning my septum for when i get it done? or do i really have to use sea salt soaks?

@FuckNormality I never used the sea salt for any of my piercings, I heal pretty well, for my septum I just used clear unscented hand soap and warm water. I just washed it in the shower.

@Xxdragonkisser25xX I just use my fingers and slide it back out..haha I guess you could use q-tips if you really needed to..

@Xxdragonkisser25xX out as in out of the hole or flipped down, if you want to flip it down you have to get your thumb and the finger next to the thumb and just pull it out.

And for taking it out you have to flip it down then push it out

I just have the retainer in right now. I'm not sure if it really has a size..haha. it only stung for a couple seconds..and my eyes watered almost immediately. other than that, it wasn't bad at all :)

every peircing has a size. and the septum peircing size is 14

no one i know has ever had it pierced with a fourteen gauge. mine, and other people who have it done that i know were pierced at a twelve gauge.

I actually got mine pierced as a 14 but the ring I have in now stretched it a bit to a 12.
