  • @flyingpeacockful im 5 10 170 same as u i can hang on a 10ft rim with 2 hands off of 1 foot just do calf raises everyday and invisable chair plus u have to have good form when u jump very important ima download some vids of me at the park so u can see my vertical

  • I'm 13 and have a 38 inch vertical all I can say is TRAIN every day it will help you out a lot and yes I can dunk a 10th ft. Hoop

  • I'm 5"6 and I'm 13. I can barely touch the rim and sometimes I can't touch it at all. The rim is about 9ft. Can someone tell me how to get my jump HIGH! And this vid sounds helpful like it would work in a snap and I didn't even try it! THANKS!

  • @Supblueskate13 hi. im 13 too. same height. and i can dunk. what u really want to do. is just train your leg muscles. maybe half an hour of jumping excercises will definietly help you. i can dunnk on a 10' rim

  • @SENguyenFtw Hey, thank you for replying. I don't do jumping exercises, but I do play soccer, basketball, and run track. I'm big into jumping and really want to increase to vertical! I am 5'6 and am about 4 inches or so away from touch the rim of a 10ft basket. Not sure what my vert is.. But do you have any suggestions for exercises to increase my vertical? I try to get rim every day.. My friend and I have a special way of dunking. Search "walldunk dunk session" and it's the first video. Thanks!

  • im 6'3 probaly 6'4 with shoes. yes i know its sad i cant dunk. a couple months ago i could jump and just tap the rim but now i can jump up and easily grab the rim, and if im really feeling it i can dunk. this stuff works.. and streching is a very important step also

  • You probably don't need to exaggerate your last step so much. Also, forward momentum doesn't affect that much at all. Quads isn't as important as your hamstring. Read "high jumpers." Most single leg even jump less to no knee flexion at all.

  • ouch that hurts i do that sometimes when i jump up from my seat... pain in the ass they should raise all ceilings to at least 9 feet

  • This really does make a lot of sense. Much of increasing your vert has to do simply with your jumpimg form.
