  • God bless Norman Evans and Les Dawson who was very much inspired by him.

  • Eddie Gray lived just around the corner from me, in Shoreham-by-Sea, for 38 years. His wife Pattie was a niece of the turn of the last century music hall star, Marie Loftus. She founded a show business colony on Shoreham Beach where, in the 1910's/20's, virtually every music hall star of the time had a bungalow.

  • thank u

  • Seen Eddie Gray live in Cardiff

  • @powerspade You're v lucky those days are long gone.. :'(

  • @powerspade Yes I know that, the crazy gang were in the New Theatre in cardiff, I went with my uncle John. He used to run a guest house in London before the war and he knew all the old stars, After we watched the show he took me back stage and I met all the members of the crazy gang I have never forgot the it was a magic moment

  • Norman Evans was brilliant. Les Dawson drew much inspiration from him. Super compilation, all the other stuff is wonderful too. Not to mention all the other postings in this series.

  • 3rd time on the same brick this week!, love it.
