@ThaBR33D Haha, no... we all have to do the same "basic" combat training regardless of our "full time" job in the Army. Besides, I'm female. Combat arms units (meaning those that are often in direct combat, like infantry, tankers, etc.) are verboten for females. We can be in support units (which is how female Soldiers often end up doing infantry-like stuff - such as patrols and convoy security - in combat zones), but we're technically not allowed to be directly in combat units.
@sekhmet1098 Interesting.. How was it over there? I may be stationed overseas from what my recruiter tells me and what others say, but it's about a 70/30 chance because Coasties are generally stateside.
SHITS GANGSTA MAN btw just a little question what did u edit this on or like how did u get 16:9 without it being HD thanks btw congratz on the 100 subscribers I GOT 22!!!!!!!!
I edited this one with iMovie. The raw footage is actually HD, I just don't render the final product in HD because it saves me time in uploading (being as I have very limited Internet access here, speed is key).
yea man people indigi camo...idk y but its scary being in georiga at the army place and a crap load of army people walk pass not talking or smiling buuut all respect
Brecken was watching this over my shoulder..and he says "Dad...I don't get it...this is just people walking with awesome music!" gotta love the honesty of a six year old...grown up me actually like the video alot...Congrats on a fully hundy subs =)..
Thanks.. Lol is Brecken saying it sucked? He wouldn't be far off if he was.. But then I'm sure he's used to seeing your work, so it's hardly a fair comparison lol.
I was under the impression the Army only used ACOGs. For some reason this reminds me of how the Army guys/gals would always poke fun of how cute our rifles were. (we only had 10.3inch barrels). I was disappointed the first time I shot 40mm. It just goes plop in the ocean. No boom or anything when theres nothing to hit. OH and congratulations on the 100!
Serving can often be a thankless job & I know it really doesn't count for much but let me just say now... THANK YOU!
THANK YOU for what u have done & for what u must now do. I've watched ur vids & I hope that when all is said + done, u will return to motovlogging once again.
There's nothing more I can say except, for what it's worth, please do take care.
I really should of joined the service. But desert storm was in full swing at the time. My loss I guess.

What is your occupation (no 300 jokes)? It looks like infantry, but I have little knowledge of Army :P

A few have ACOGs, but the majority of us have CCOs. Mind you, I'm not in a combat arms unit.. Those guys get priority with that stuff.

Do you mean the mark 19? A Stryker is a type of armored vehicle, at least in the US army.
sekhmet1098 2 years ago
i thought its a Mk 47 Stryker, the replacement of the mark 19.
Sorry if I mixed it up, in terms of US army equipment Ive a lack of even the fundamentals.

Hey thanks for everything...stay safe.

Single file road march? Always a great vid... keep safe and hope to see more from ya soon.
fastride852000 2 years ago
We'd actually just finished IED training and were marching back to our AO, thus the single file and informality. :)
