I remember this one mantis i found in my yard....it was really hyper or something, every time i would pick it up, it climbed up my arm and onto my head like really fast....then it would sit there for a while and jump/fly down to the ground....

Mantids are actually pretty friendly towards humans once they get used to you. They tend to go for the hair for some reason, not sure what that's about but they seem to like riding peoples' heads when they get there lol

i really love praying mantids. they're the coolest bug EVER. and they're really gentle with humans. i've owned MANY of them, and they're just curious, and love to walk around, and explore.

and their eyes are SO FUNNY!! they STARE at you!
