Great video. It was a tough pill to swallow after Portugal. I remember watching it at the camp I was working at with a bunch of Brits and I could just see the looks on their faces, we were all gutted. Despite heroics Portugal won, but the more times I watch it I feel that Rooney's stamp was an accident.

ashley is a gimp tbh. if you listen to him in interviews you can tell he's acts like a little kid and you can always tell he never gets along with anyone at chelsea or england except for really young people like lennon. but he aint the reason we lost. i thought he did ok in the world cup. but he's crap now for us!

naa. personally i think lampard would perform well if he was on the right side of midfield. but gerrard is the better performer internationally. barry is left footed and it is such an advantage having a left and right footers in midfield. barry is the man for now atleast.
heskey and owen are brilliant together and i hope heskey breaks into the main XI. however his backup i agree with the guy somewhere below should be ashton. and rooney on the bench as the other guy said.

I completely agree. For me the weak link is Lampard. He and Gerrard can't play together and England need to be able to boss the midfield. Gareth Barry is the man. McLaren needs to not be so biased towards the big four.

Personally I'd have Lampard in over Gerrard at the moment.
I hate Gerrard (At his best he's better than Lampard) but Lampards form at the moment is far better than Gerrards.
Play Hargreaves in front of the back 4, two wingers in Joe Cole and SWP, then have Lampard pushing up front.

Great video. It was a tough pill to swallow after Portugal. I remember watching it at the camp I was working at with a bunch of Brits and I could just see the looks on their faces, we were all gutted. Despite heroics Portugal won, but the more times I watch it I feel that Rooney's stamp was an accident.

England always get easy qualifying groups, and look at Scotlands. The 2 world cup finalists and Ukraine??? And still Scotland are in with a chance.
