@harseen1 Kurds have been Mesopotamian, but they were originally a nomadic group. They didnt live in one area. The main Mesopotamians were Armenians, Assyrians, and Greeks.

At 1200 they made problem between alevitin kurds and sunni kurds. the produced war between these both. million were killed. then about 1700 to 1800 they made problem between ezidi, jewish, aleviten and sunniten kurds. Again thaousands of kurds had killed each other. then again turks made problem between armenian and kurds agan in 1915 million of people were killed.

Kurd name is not just for kurdish. Armenia is not just the name of armenian. Kurd name come about 3000 bc. Armenian come 2500 bc. for kurds it does not matter if the name of country is Kurdistan or Armenia.

The name Azerbaidjan comes the toponomic name Atrpatakan, where ATR is the fire, so the word means land of fire (because of the petrolium). @nuneh I am agree. But it is difficult. I think it takes time. 50 miilion kurds around all kurdistan. And since 1200 years turks leading this people. I think it takes time to make all 50 million kurds understand that turks are not their friend. Turks are really good to play between people. They orginised many armenian and kurds so it happened a civil war between both. Kurds and Armenian need to be free from fucking turks. :)

even during the Ottoman Empire, Armenians paid special tax (jizya) so that our children did not have to go to school with turks and so we didnt have to become muslim.
I hope that Kurds can gain independence and have a Kurdistan in place of south turkey.

The name Azerbaidjan comes the toponomic name Atrpatakan, where ATR is the fire, so the word means land of fire (because of the petrolium). In the beginning of tyhe 20th century the people that is called azeri, in all the documents was called either turks of the Caucasus or tartars of the Caucasus. I don't understand, why do they reject their roots... Rare actitude. Better to try to dignify their own origin and be proud of it.
