@flacobell This bad vibe might have been come about, because this poster rather crudly cut one minute off this heavenly piece of music.Instead of playing with his $1 walmart toy,he should have given this music due respect.
This song ... really hits my heart to. Also, Samuel Barber's - Adagio for Strings, (music from the movie "Platoon") is another sad song for the heart ....
This is played at the end of a movie. It is one word and rhymes with graffic. Hint: kids playing baseball. Hint 2: mexican cop is Benecio Del Toro. Hint 3: Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones. Hint 4: The Little Bird Doesn't Have a Name.
I'm so sorry. I'm going to die soon.... enough. I hope my life was worth it. I tried to help, but I guess I never had the right words to say. Simple music amazes me because it tells the story I never could.
Wow holy shit. I musta been VERY drunk when I wrote that lol. I suppose I was meaning that life is short and sometimes it seems so close to the end and music like this makes me reflect on things like that. It's a very melancholy feeling.
Lol but no, I'm not dying anytime soon as far as I know. =)
@Nouseeker How do you know that? Probably my birthday on my profile or something. But yeah, 23 and when my friends go to sleep and I'm still up still drinking I reflect on things and tend to post weird shit. I just freak out sometimes thinking I'm already a quarter of the way done. My apologies haha. But yeah this track kicks ass.
If I didn't know any better, I pretend that I'm looking at planets through a telescope. Thank you for this! Your imagery makes the music so much more significant and emotional
Hi I just rediscovered Brian Eno and gosh I love his music! There is a really beautiful sad song (woman singer I think) in the film The Lovely Bones but all I found are Brian's songs for the film but nothing on this particular song I am after... Any ideas anyone? Much appreciated!
now im not one to cry, but everytime i listen to this, i cry extremely hard; its like i cant controll it, i just cry for the longest time. i remember wat it was like when i was a kid; so free, innocent, relaxed, happy. i dont know if i could ever go back to a time and place like that, but i do know this song is the closest thing i have to being free now. great job mr. eno and thanks a million. u know the true meaning of music. god bless everyone and all is well.
@plzletmego87 Wow. You shouldnt listen to it if it has that affect on you. I know what you mean though. Sometimes I feel so sorry for kids. They have no idea what the world is really like. Its all ahead of them
@plzletmego87 I so know what you mean, isn't it wonderful? , reality itself i mean, everything is perfect.....I love what is, and i know it will set us free....
@plzletmego87 thats a beautiful thing you have said. I love the album Apollo so much too. Through meditation and chanting the names of the divine do i tap into the creator of us all, the ONE beyond all things of this physical world. There (here) is that freedom, free of pain and fear. We are all returning in our own way.
@boxanova66 Im sorry you cant relate to this. Im sorry you were molested as a child and now turned gay. I hope you find solitude in something. Remember this: "What goes around, ALWAYS comes back around......"
@boxanova66 Ha. So your experience was great. That is basically what you've just told me. There we go again, faggots can't keep things to themselves. Remember this: "Real men cry." I'm just sorry that you're too "hardcore" to do so=)
@plzletmego87 damn dude, lot of agression coming out of a guy who was talking abut crying, clouds happiness going with alice to a magical place in wanderland, lol, your full of shit man...
@boxanova66 Obviously you're a dumb ass. You didn't even read what I wrote. So I'm full of shit.....LOL! And by the way that is the whole point of music like this. I'm done with you and your complete ignorance. It's people just like you who are destroying this country from within. So god help you and I hope you make it. Peace.
@homidog11 You are just like him. I'm not a punk and obviously you are. I'm standing up for myself. I was minding my own business when out of nowhere this asshole is calling what I said gay and therefore me too. So make sure your brain is fully loaded before you shoot your mouth off.
@PAULLONDEN Yes it will, most definitely. If you don't mind me asking, from where did you first hear this song? Do you remember what you were doing at the time when you first heard it?
@plzletmego87 Sums it up perfectly. This is a masterpiece of inner reflection.......... reminds one of death but also of beauty........ it completely takes over your emotions. quite unique really.
nice...yeah i can imagine being stoned when i watch this. like when you realise youve been staring at something for like 45 minutes solid... try and take out the other noises, auto focus etc then it will brilliant :) Love this track so much. looks like an egg in the womb
Vangelis did a track very similar to this Eno track. They used to play Vangelis's track during the healing session at a Spiritualist Church I attended a few times.
Once again, as the music begins to play, my pain and problems leave my mind and body. Dont know what my life would be like without ambiant music from mr eno or robert fripp. thank you.
To me, watching this exceptionaly fantastic video reminds me watching The Green Flash. That is a point between sunset and darknest, you see the eariest green light, for brief few seconds. Happens over water (oceans). I have seen it twice. So look for it,its amazing to see.

my little brother who has autism always responded well to this video.thank you 4 sharing such beauty.what's the name of the song?is it in 28 days later?
Completely agree with you, Ryan. Certain combinations of images and sound are very conducive to meditation and contemplation, and you've certainly created one such example. Thanks.
the whole point of this video to to emphasize exactly what you have commented, except for the spelling mistakes. It goes to show that a guy with a 4 year old digital camera and a light can make a 3 minute long video that allows a person 3 minutes time to think. 3 minutes that person usually wouldn't have allowed themselves to have. That's the great thing about this video. Everyone is so wrapped up in their lives that they dont give themselves time to sit, listen and relax. .
From the "Apollo" album, right? I haven't listened to that since high school many, many years ago. It's lovely, which is a word I don't use often, but it's hard to think of a more appropriate one.

This is one of those utterly astounding pieces of music -- a true rarity...something transformative!
Album title aside ( Apollo), this piece and the whole album mystically send me into the cosmos. It's a gift and a blessing.
I often wonder of the great composers, did they recognize at the time of creating, that a particular piece would be so profound.

Isn't ambient music great? You can listen to it in the background or with full interest and its awesome either way.

the melodic is very nice, can you me send the song?
