  • no sunshine, crappy whether.

  • Suscribed to your channel because I really like these kind of things. But could I suggest that you add music to your videos? I think the result would be even better. Cheers.

  • Thats awesome :))

  • wow

  • love it wen the lights come on in the buildings...so0 beautiful =D

  • Good video

  • The firm I worked for supplied the double glazed units and insulated panels for most of the buildings at Canary Wharf,

No.1 has 4200 double glazed units plus a similar amount of insulate panels.

  • I love those facts! Number One really beautiful.

  • awesome to see the changes in wind direction.

  • You can really see why super tall buildings are refered to as skyscrapers in this vid, especially 1 canada square.

  • did you record this on camera?

If so the memory must have been big!

  • London is amazing !!!

  • really cool

a good song to listen to whilst watching this is - cafe del mar (micheal woods remix) by energy 52 ;)

  • Watching the clouds change is amazing. Such a slow process in normal time.

  • omg the clouds changing direcftion looks so coool

  • i can see canary wharf from down the road

  • The tallest building from the right looks like it's playing tetris! HEHEEEEEEE!

  • This is MAJOR!

  • That is a really nice video. I wonder what is the time interval you chose for your frames. I live in Canary Wharf and have a similar view. How can you set this up?

  • I am saddened when commentators are reduced to name calling and personal insult . If they cannot put their point across more verbosely then perhaps it is because they have nothing really to say!

  • me too.........you prick

  • He's right, although I got nothing against Americans at all and I don't think they're ignorant. The old school architecture and the new is what makes up a city- think every time some trendy architect decides to demolish historical buildings and replace them with some concrete monster it ruins the place, but the old school buildings have stood the test of time. lecture over.

  • Awesome video, timelapseman!

  • Did you record this from your flat?

  • raise your aim , those are stubs

  • That is one of the stupidist comments I have ever read. If you took all that away we would be just the same as hundreds of other cities, and we wouldn't get any tourists. Don't be bothered what americans think, they're just ignorant.

  • shut up u idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • farmerfred

Nooo WAY they want London to swallow its history in a ton of sky scrapers...they would have done it long ago, otherwise.

This is what keeps London unique!

  • the cloud movement is excellent

  • I was Lucky enough to work on the Canary wharf BUilding several years back when it was being built, or as we refered to it in the complex, DS9, I had the pleasure of on my lunch breaks going up to the 49th floor as it has no 13th floor built by americans so I would then go onto the roof and climb the vertical 3 story ladder up inside the Pyramid and have my lunch up at the tip where the White strobe flashing light can be seen, the view was and still is Awsome,

  • I had a chance to go up to the 50th floor back in '93 when it opened once to the public. Great views but I had no camera.

  • AWESOME RESPECT !

  • Nice video...

    Some how peaceful.

  • i wanna live with that view, AMAZING!

  • Pay me £400,000 and its yours!

  • thats cheap for london, must be a little one bedroom micro-flat you have lol. or worse, your in tower hamelts, LOL

  • wow do you live there with THAT view from your window? Sure beats Wimbledon...=)

  • i like how the landscape is brighter and more animated at night than it is in the day, does this reflect life in london? or is it just busy busy busy all the time?

  • cool i love londons skyline!

  • Quick question, are there dissolves in there to transtition light / dark? Or is the camera running on auto?

  • Highlights the extent of light pollution - doesn't get properly dark

  • Amazing. I love the changing directions of the clouds.

  • Interesting to see the lights "flowing" along the floors: wonder if it's cleaners or security workers. Beautiful, nonetheless.

  • this confused me too...

  • I think they are snaking because of cleaners going up, down and around the various floors! All these timelapses are pretty cool, although it might be nice if they could have some overlay giving the time (9pm, 10pm, etc.).

  • My favorites: day-night-day sequence, change of wind direction on clouds, cranes kicking in at work hours in the morning, light patterns in office windows. Question: why do the lights in that one building snake around back and forth, up and down? That is weird.

  • I am from just down the road but I never really noticed how Beautiful Canary Wharf is.

  • almost as if everyone wakes up at night

  • It's really interesting to see the lights go on and off, and how the winds change direction...really cool!!!

  • woah that´s so cool...

  • wow, i loved the way the lights in the office block seemed to flash!

  • This is what I call eye-candy..nice! The best timelap for me is always when day turns into night..georgeous

  • One thing i noticed is some people must be working in their offices all night!!

  • love the lights, the clouds, the cranes moving

  • Awsome! Great! Crazy! That's beautiful.....Those clouds is a trip to watch....You should go to Chicago in America and do a timelaps on their amazing skyline...

  • Wow, those clouds are fantastic! Excellent video

  • That is so cool! I love it

    =D

  • Beautiful! Really compliments the best city in the world!

  • That's awesome.

  • the lights on the building at the start are amazing!

  • wooo the clouds are scaring me! haha! wow!

  • sweet

  • these videos are really cool

what kind of camera did you use?

  • Canon EOS 300 for this one, hitchet to a powerbook. One shot every 30 seconds, exposure from 1/250 to about 3 seconds.

  • the lights in the building in the centre are cool

  • such a nice timelapse.... The whole timelapse had something interesting going on the whole time...
