Ehhh... Only reason I would find this difficult, and this is just my opinion from watching, not playing yet, is because of a rather large player sprite, your shots can hide enemy shots, and some of the enemy shots flash, like they're trying to give you a friggin seizure
But seriously? you can stop their shots with yours >.> Where's the fun in that??
Not sure about your first question. But I don't think you can stop their shots, only the beams, it does seem that some of the bullets disappear when the enemy is defeated. Trust me, its fun.

After a century of so, the machines reactivated, evolved and came down to wreak havoc. The bosses (Daughters) are evolutions of the Dolls from DOJ, and so are the player fighters (A-Deltasword, B-Biaxe, C-Spearhead).
This game is available on preorder right now from play asia, for 360 ships in 4 weeks nov 25

Xbox 360 port will be good and Cave needs to do shumps for other plataforms too like PS3,Wii and PSP.
Note:DS has 1 Cave shump game called Ketsui DS

Akai Katana is running on SH3-hardware, yes. Everything recent is except for Death Smiles 2.

Yeah that's right, only that unlike the Type X-2 the system DS2 runs on was custom-made and thus exclusively runs this one game.
