Agreed, all the early Raven albums are great, and the newer ones too. Just a couple in the later 80's were weak.

The pack is back is their only real bad album. Mad was ok. Life's a bitch isn't too good but has some ok songs on it. Stay hard was crappy too , ok mid 80's stuff was lame lol....but they admit that wacko wanted go that direction. He obviously was axed for that reason and he also wanted to spend time with his fam.

old raven sweet, although i really dig the later raven stuff after 88..like nothing exceeds like excess etc. Raven's latest album Walk Through Fire is proof they can rock harder than anyone else, I saw em live in 2010 and they destroyed every band i've ever seen. No one can top Raven live. Joe in my opinion is a better drummer than wacko was great but a bit sloppy at times. NWOBHM rules.

boy i love all you raven fans this band was always underatted its about time i see old school lovers of classic metal. but i dissagree wit the later stuff someone said it sucked i dont agree architect of fear was heavy and in 88 was great into the jaws of death ruled.

O MY GODD. The climaxes in this song are unbelievable. And have you ever noticed that you could make songs out of Mark Gallagher's solos? He doesn't just noodle-off, his solos seems to riffs of their own. How does he get such an amazing guitar sound? Is that a single coil tele?

Now this is what I call HEAVY FUCKIN METAL !!!! Classic dirty dingy raw kicking volume. I can watch early 80s/late 70s metal footage all day long. Thanks for posting this!
