@MrSkaramanga I'm not sure what size the cables are - they are about a half inch thick - copper. I bought them from the guy that sold me the batteries.
you're getting a solid 500 Amp Hours @ 12Volts for you supply then, the way you got em hooked up. That should be good enough for most applications. Well done
BTW, from looking at some other vids, I notice that alot of guys with battery banks like the ones you got, place the positive and negative wires coming from the panels to OPPOSITE ends of the batt bank. In other words, the positive from solar panel goes to the positive to one of the batteries on one end of the battery bank, and the negative from the panel goes to the opposite end of the battery bank to the negative. It is supposed to charge your batts alot better. Also , desulfator , got one?
@MrSkaramanga This hook up is supposed to spread the charge throughout the battery bank more evenly. Some people also connect the load from one end to the other for the same reason. I have a desulfating type of charger, but they are supposed to be only good up to 5 batteries and hey only desulfate when the batteries are fully charged.
