I did 148.46 in 1999 with a pair of eclipse 12" (sealed box, 1.28cuft per) and two rockford bd1000a1 amps. 300 amp alternator helps too. OLD SCHOOL!

I like it, its an spl setup. But your box design is meant for running a lot of power to subs. Since your not you could give the subs more internal air space and do a standard port inside box. Should gain a little db, and overall sound.

mm i do 149.7 @ 39hz with two 18s on 800watts.. i upgraded to a DC 3.5k and havnt tested yet. so im not to impressed sorry

something wrong with your setup? you have 2x15" in a spl box. i have a single 12" in a music box doing 148.4 and clamp about 2k more or less.

i traded two cvr's for an l5 and im glad i did..the cvr's would start to smell after pushing them with my aq2200d at half the gain, the l5 doesnt smell, even after being pounded at 1ohm full gain..

@lurk925 man is that sub getting lots of dirty single audiopipe!!!!!!!!!!!!! with those gains turned up, no wonder that cvr started to smell like that, i can imagine when that l5 starting to smell like burnt coils!

@MrJulioramirez13 no the L5 takes the power like a champ, but i dont think my amp is getting the full power it needs anyways, i have a stock battery and 110 amp alternator so maybe getting less than 1700 watts i assume..

nice numbers i bet you can do better though maybe a bigger box would help if i remember correctly one l5 15 can have a box volume of up to six feet good idea with the tube ports your headed in the right direction congrats
