You are right. The word "Hate" is appropriate sometimes. It is in our language for a reason. God uses that word sometimes too so... yeah, it's necessary sometimes.
@Kid0xford There is no 'will'' to hate. Hate is a naturally occurring emotion that both sexes experience equally. The only difference is where they apply or direct their hate. Men hate just as fiercely as women, make no mistake.
I say I hate things ALL the time, but it's mostly me speaking in hyperbole. Like, do I seriously hate that crack in the sidewalk? No. Or...do I really hate overcast weather? No, I'll live, it'll be fine.
@denimpixie Well, I have to admit, sometimes I use the word hate as a figure of speech, but at other times, I TRULY mean that I hate something...and I should not feel guilty when the hate is deserved.
@uheardme1stime Fine. Priest or an equivalent, if you want to get nitpicky. There was no sneaking there. You made it culturally irrelevant with your USSR bit- we ARE talking western world here. I felt the need to clarify. Either way, the cardinal rule with flame wars on the internet: you're a loser the second you hit reply. In summation, the idea of monogomy is evolution based - marriage, is more spiritual in nature at its roots, and flirting isn't grimey. S'about all I've gotta say.
@uheardme1stime Yeah, I agree with you. I'm saying that that behavior is viewed on a broad scale as morally grimey, whether you and I agree or not. And if you don't think that marriage in the Western world has biblical roots, you've got some research to do. Or 5 seconds of logic. It's only up until recently that you could get married in front of Elvis as far as anyone cared. Before, it was always in front of a priest. A church-wedding is called "traditional" for a reason. Just a thought.
@Kid0xford "Hate" is a word for a reason. It is overused, just like "love", but Blake is being real here - just like "love" is an appropriate word for *some* instances, "hate" must also be. Everything has a balance. If someone does have true hatred towards something, its reality should not and cannot be ignored, for this someone most likely loves things, too. Does having hatred make you improper? No. When it's balanced and does not rule your life or your love, it makes you human.
@uheardme1stime Sure, it's essentially harmless when there's no actual cheating performed (doesn't extend past flirting). It's just kinda grimey to do. Marriage is originally a holy institution. That was the purpose of marriage, it was biblical - hence why gays haven't been allowed to marry until just recently and in restricted areas. Now, on a national level, it's more federal than holy. However, at its root, it is a holy institution, which BlakeBarbieDoll acknowledges.
At first I had the same view of the word hate in terms of people, as your sister. but after listening to your opinion i can understand that feeling is quite appropriate at times! lol
@CHRISTIANchickTV I, too, am well versed in the scripture and appreciate your sharing the word in this comment section. I realize that we are all vessels and depending on our spiritual condition we can be used by the enemy as weapons. However, we are creatures of free will and we are responsible for our actions---regardless of who we are battling. I do, however, believe in Jesus Christs' message of forgiveness and I try my best to abide by it. God bless you as well.
I believe it's Ok to say you HATE an act/behavior and not the person, when most people say they HATE a person it's not really the person they HATE but a certain behavior. Isn't that what religion, the bible promotes? Love the Sinner HATE the sin?.
@bertmarx Yes, God does indeed reserve a certain amount of hate for certain actions...since we are made in His image, we are compelled to do the same.
So funny you posted this! I was just thinking today of 1. men who are old, unattractive, etc who seem to feel they have a shot anyway because a pretty black woman is somehow on the clearance rack. and 2. of men who ogle or flirt while out with their CHILDREN, sometimes pushing a stroller or carrying a baby.
I definitely agree on the point that you can tell so much about a person by how they treat children and animals (and the elderly, may I add). A person is only as good as how they treat the "lowest" members of life.
@Astutechick I am actually doing a "Jewish Men/Black women'' series that will start early next month. I made two videos (requests) that I need to upload when I get back home. I will try to keep my focus pure (IR in general and black women in particular.) Thank you for the support ((( HUGS)))

@ingridgott Most people ( I believe) are not spiritually sick and have no respect for Jesus or His laws of love and peace.

william52648 7 months ago
@william52648 Some things DESERVE to be hated....like drugs and the acts of muder and rape.
