  • Name of the song?

  • @TrafficMind10 de ushuaia a la quiaca by gustavo santaolalla

  • 1:14 pic show so much emotion.

  • maybe americans care nothing about history, or her story...

another such story.. Child of Nature ~ Luljeta Lleshanaku

award winning poet from Albania, Lleshanaku’s Child of Nature explores her country’s past in intense and powerful lyrics. In my house praying was considered a weakness,

    like making love.

    And like making love

it was followed by a long night

    of fear,

    so alone with the body.

    —Luljeta Lleshanaku

  • just music? I think not! It is the man, it is the power, it is the life...

  • love this song. awesome

  • the first pcture reminds me of Tom Joad from the Grapes of Wrath

  • beautyful music with such expressive pictures!

  • We Americans have very biased and prejudice view of such people, Che was not an ordinary man, he may have hated America but surely he never hated Americans, he was a visionary leader who was free from all sort of racism. May be we Americans need to rewrite history without any bias and prejudice. Peace to the world

  • @rhummayuna Americans are not just the people from USA. Americans are all people in this Continent, from Canada to Argentina. In that point begin the problem within us, the people from America, 80% don´t have the right to be called AMERICAN. You´re right there is a lot of prejudice, we have to beginn with the little things to make a big change.

  • @rhummayuna "he was a visionary leader who was free from all sort of racism", that's not true, his own diaries from the Congo show he was incredibly racist towards blacks

  • @tearsinrain86 Socialism has no place for racism, anyway, I haven't read his diaries specially when he was in Congo, But I will read about it, and it might be possible that you are right

    Regards

  • @rhummayuna there are good socialists, and bad socialists, like anything else in life. Che is not someone to look up to, but that doesn't mean that his enemies were better. "Freedom without Socialism is privilege and injustice and Socialism without freedom is slavery and brutality"

  • @rhummayuna dont confuse America with US Citizens, America is the whole hemisphere, salvadorean coffee is more american that your apple pie and ice cream and even thats not "american" its dutch.

  • @rhummayuna History is written by the victors. It will never happen

  • great movie, awsm music.

  • Sagopa Kajmer - Düsersem Yanarim - another version of this song:D

  • One of the best movies ive ever watched. and the song, the best ive ever heard. So much of emotions in it. A damn good composition.

  • the best movie ever

it gets u thinking about the world and wats really going on around us

  • *tears*

  • One of the best movies ive ever seen, its so characteristic, unique and beautiful:)

  • actually i think i got it wrong it may be gael garcia bernal :P i was reading marquez 1000 days in solitude and got my head all muddled :P

  • I love this movie and the music is so beautiful...

  • why humans do this just for wealth cant everyone lives together with love?

  • Some 1-2% of any given population is totally without the ability to express empathy, subclinically of course.

Such people in power... is disastrous for the rest of us.

  • and theres 1-2% of any given population that actually get off their ass and start a revolution for all the right reasons. But bad things happen to good people... fact of life

  • Hero !

  • thank you :] i think i will watch it, it looks really good :]

  • Beautiful music!

    Epic movie!!

Che was and still is a hero.

The actor (i forgot his name) did a good job.

  • Forgive my ignorance but Who was Che?

  • Che?!

I think he was a General in argentina he was a good comunist. then stupid american's killed him.

sorry for miss spellings and if my history is wrong.

  • check out wiki !

p.s che guevara wasnt a communist, he was the most influential leaders of the socialist revolution in cuba.

dhyleck do watch the movie the motorcycle diaries, it shows his journey from his homeland (argentina) throughout the americas and then to cuba where he joined the revolution.

It shows how the injustice he witnessed made him stand up and fight for his ideals!

as i said che was and still is a hero!!!

  • Its was Gael Garcia Marquez

  • thats right..i forgot the guys name!

    thnks!!

  • mersi gustago

    sagopa kajmer dusersem yanarim

    watch?v=NmHK6f5AzEQ&feature=related

  • Nicest music!!!!!

  • Thank you Gustavo for your amazing talent in the CHARANGO BOLIVIANO. I love your style and great music!

  • I started from Colombia,Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Chile..Bolivia y Brazil. South America is a beautiful..

The begining of the movie where Che says, Methdod: Improvisation, Objective: Explore the Latin American country we only know in books..

  • HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE(until the victory always)--Che

    movie was amazing as well

  • Great,Great music.

  • the movie was so touching...

  • i love the movie!!!..it's the greatest...ever!!!...CHE GUEVARA was and is a HERO...<333

  • Amazing movie as well as a amazing biography

  • love this movie

    and the song is amazing!

hope i get to see south america one day

  • This movie inspired me to go on my long journey thru South America

  • did u?

  • Sarkiyi nerden buldun? Nasil indirebilirim?

  • Che was an amazing man who was a free thinker a visionary, a revolutionary..anyone who thinks other wise and bashes him is a brainwashed Moran...this movie was so cool to show a very humane and deeply caring side to a very young Che...and he was fine might I say both the actor and the real man...mmmm

  • and che was also a dictator and a mass murderer, but people seem to easely forget that part

  • It's true, he execueted people after removing dictator Batista from Cuba. I think people always need saints or heroes to look upon to.

I liked the movie never the less.

But history should be telled the right way....

  • History is always grey

  • amazing movie.:)

  • No movie has ever touched me in a way this has and yes, it is due to the gorgeous Gael too but this movie just has it all. The music is simply the most beautiful in the world. I think that Santaolalla is a genius. There is a little dichotomy(?) because of the history that relates to this movie and I know it's a little naive to ignore that but that's what I basically did. I just enjoyed the amazing story and the landscapes that this movie gives.

  • ushuaia is located in southern part of argentina, and "la quiaca" is the last place youll find before crossing the north frontier

So, this means "all through my country" or smth like that

  • the soundtrack is just amazing...love it.

  • me too! (the movie & the soundtrack)

and sounds like you need to get over your personal differences. It seems that one of the biggest and saddest problems in modern globalised western civilisation is the lack of/small amount of empathy people are willing to feel for others as well as the lack of or unwillingness of people to try to understand others.

'with forgivness comes love, and when you love god(name varies) shines a light on you'

  • Fuck Bush!! Viva Mexico!!

  • and bush is what?

  • Que Viva Lincoln-DiazBalart!!!!

  • In the end were the people better off after Che's work? Yes. He made life better, sure he wasnt peaceful about it but he made it happen. Just because we're american and he fought against us doesnt mean hes the bad guy.

  • Does anyone happen to know the title of this song? would appreciate answer

  • it´s a song by Gustave Santaollala, called

    "De Usuahia a la Quiaca"

  • God bless you

  • p.s.: you will also hear it as a part of the soundtrack of "Garden State" (with Nathalie Portland and Jud Law)

    kind regards

  • amazing movie, great story....and the soundtrack is of the best ever!!!!

  • lol at all the ignorance.

Yes Che was a communist, but not like the one in sovietunion.

There are many types of communism and Che only tryed to help the poor and suppressed people who was being suppressed constantly by the upperclasses!

Why are there so many retards in america?

  • Dont make generalizations. The majority of humanity is stupid, not only in america.

  • thats the truth right there bro...

  • hitler tried to help the poor too. o yeah, also stalin. ever heard of them? its an old argument buddy. our retards are geniuses in your country.

  • hahahha Hitler didnt help anybody man! He killed thousands and thousands!! Fuckin coward that he was

  • 1. Yes, Hitler helped the poor, but the thing is that he just had pretty strict(sick) politics about which poor person was worth helping and which was not. 2. Stalin may have convinced people that he tried to help the poor, but i'm not so sure was that ever his real goal. 3. Sorry to disappoint you, but you are not a genious in my country, you would be as retarded here, that you are over there.

  • 1. Che helped the poor, and murdered the other poor or the middle class who didn't agree with his ideas. 2. No communist system ever really helps the poor and makes a nation THRIVE(if so, where are they?) 3. This is how you spell "genius". Genius. =)

  • I never said anything about Che or communism, I only corrected the things said about Hitler and Stalin. I don't support communism any more than you do. Still the revolution in Cuba had some good results, it wasn't all bad. Tough it sure as hell wasn't all good either. Yeah and by the way, it's easy for you to say, you're a native. I bet my english is twise better than any secondary language you speak.

  • Well, for clarification, I was commenting on people's claims here that CHE was helping the poor, therefore he is a hero. With that, I stated that hitler and stalin also as champions of the poor. In essence, I was making the statement that "just because they are for the poor, doesn't make them great heroes". Oh, I am not a native. In fact English is my second language. I am fluent in three.

  • Cuba Libre!!!! Free Cuba!!!!!!

  • thats one of the most ignorrant comments i've read today...this week...hell maybe even the month. :[

  • yeah and today almost all the world is anti american.. which makes them all terrorists rite?

    what a dumbass

  • DEPOTDOLLARS!!

    ERES UN PENDEJO!!

  • Cubans for McCain

  • the actor who played che wasn't as pretty as the young guvera, though its a fair tribute in accordance with Alberto granando's account.

The Account by jorge Casteneda is more comprehensive and delving.

  • You clearly know nothing if you compare Che to Hitler, why don't read some non far right information about Che Guevara before you formulate your warped opinion of him

  • how stupid can u be? Yea...eat up whatever our government tells you. :[

  • Wow, Josephmanalil! This must to be the most stupid thing I've ever read in Youtube (And I've read a lot of stupid things). PS: Che didn't said "Don't kill me", he actually said "Shoot me, you coward. You're only going to kill a man"

  • this movie was great... excellent soundtrack as well. a poignant insight to Che's personal revolution before the history we are all so aware of.

  • Che Guevara is immortal

  • A movie that shook me to my roots !!

Great piece of art that soundtrack, too!!

  • I saw the film today and was very impressed. And I like this song very much... Does anyone know the title of this amazing song?
