  • This sounds like pitfall 2 but its not. What the f is this?

  • @luigix69 It's the arcade version of Pitfall II by Sega.

  • Now this is a video game. Im not into the modern 8 buttoned paddles as much as the older games.

  • 5:30 Kakuna! (i don't know why i'm making pokemon refrences)

  • @angelpichu1 then i guess @ 3:58 is caterpie lol

  • Fantastic. I didn't know there was an arcade version of this classic 2600 game.

  • Years ago I played the MSX1 version, very minimal but highly playable :)

    This arcade seems only perfect!

  • This NEEDS to be ported to the Master System!

  • This looks Someone wanted to make Mario, but he got "stuck" doing this instead

  • It is truthfully pitfall 3...

  • real pitfall 2 is for coleco vision

  • It's the arcade version. I had no idea about that secret ghost, awesome!

  • terrible graphics comapred to original

  • what system is this on

  • This should be on the Virtual Console Arcade.

  • I still like the Atari 2600 version because of nostalgia and the fact that they got that on the Atari 2600 hardware... with an extra chipset in the cart of course (;

  • This always looked like a Master System game to me.

  • I think it looks like a Master System game too.

  • Yeah, it even sounds like one!!!

I wonder why they never ported it? Sega released loads of other Activision games on the machine themselves like Ghostbusters and Shanghai.

  • This is the sega masters system and arcade version

  • Man, I'd rather work in real estate than brave lightning bolts for a few bags of money.

Did the 2600 pitfall ever have these direct references to the first Pitfall? (pits, gators, logs?)

  • Graphics: SEGA Master System, with very good animation.

    Music: GAHH! SEGA Master System!

    Sound: NES/SEGA Master System.

Gameplay: Quite accurate to the original Pitfall.

  • SEGA SG-1000

  • How about a 2D remake on the 360 arcade!! Love the music for this game!

  • Bear Grylls as Pitfall Harry

if they ever make a movie

  • now that's I movie I'd go see! I love Bear!!!!

  • bear is such a fucking fake

  • of course his 2nd to last season had "fake" shit in it, and I know the camera crew follows him everywhere, but cmon man how many people do u know risk their life to get this footage. He glided over Mt. Everest!! That first season of his was so hardcore. He ate all that stuff too. Not many people have the balls he does. Think of that before you call him a fake.

  • he jumped off a boat in the middle of water and said he was floating on nothing but his clothes when in the shot you can clearly see a life jacket. he was in UNCHARTED territory when just a mile away was a fucking highway... he uses fucking lighters and shit... fucking Les Stroud is where it's fucking at... he puts Bear Grills TO FUCKING SHAME. Bear Grills also lies about surviving techniques. you can drink your own piss? bullshit. it's not healthy and you can't survive on it.

  • The whole purpose of the show isn't to try and kill off the host, you dingus. x.x It's to show the audience the harshness of the wilderness, it doesn't matter if it would be all fake or even if it was a scripted, indoors show made with CG. It's entertainment! And it's for fun! And it's also good education.

Sounds more like you should be watching American Gladiators or something with the Rock in it. x.x

  • Educational? It teaches you nothing. Watch Survivorman, it's all real and he video tapes it himself. It's REAL education.

  • Realness and how hard it is to record has NOTHING to do with how entertaining or how educational it is. x.x

  • How is it educational? It's false information, he is teaching you things that don't work. You will get stranded like supposedly does, you'd do half the things he does and it won't work. Entertainment is by far more entertaining if it's real. How is it entertaining to know that if he's in a life threatening situation, he can just whip out his cell phone.

  • How is it entertaining to know that he's in a life threatening situation at all? x.x Steve Irwin DIED because of that. WHY does the funny guy on the TV put his life on the line just because YOU don't think it's entertaining otherwise? I feel disgusted by the very idea of your reasoning. x.x

Also, it's not false information just because YOU didn't know about it. x.x You can drink urine for sustenance, barely. It COULD save your life if you have literally nothing else. It's educational.

  • He teaches you things that don't work. People will do exactly what he does and probably die because of it. He says you can blow up your pants and float on them, yeah, with a life jacket on also. If someone were to believe that you could do that, they could risk their life and kill themselves.

  • The things he show in the show are things you do if you have NO other options and you WILL die if you don't do it. They're not "untrue". They're on purpose the most extreme "tips" for the sake of making an entertaining show. They're not made realistically and life threatheningly because that would be down right idiotic.

You don't seem to grasp the simple concept and you have misunderstood the very reason for the shows in question. Add that to your disgusting opinions about "entertainment"...

  • @Adkit2 Um, excuse me, WHAT does this have to do with Pitfall II?

  • @ritmouse8 It is the Sega Arcade version

  • @moviemovies1 I was talking to Adkit, who was arguing with this other guy about some kind of TV show, and I asked what it had to do with Pitfall II.

  • @ritmouse8 Pitfall had a cartoon and a lot of the stuff in this game is in the cartoon. His niece you rescue and the lion. Youtube should have the cartoon on here.

  • Besides, Les Stroud actually RISKS his life. If he was in a life threatening situation, the only thing he could rely on is the fact that a helicopter flies over in a few days. A FEW DAYS. If Bear Grylls has an accident, he could just whip out his cell phone and have immediate attention.

  • And again, the fact that you think that the random guy on TV needs to risk his very life just for your amusements makes me so fucking ill to the stomach, it's not even funny. You should not be allowed to have opinions, because they've somehow turned foul.

  • I'm not saying that for amusement he has to risk his life, I'm saying that every says Bear Grylls does all this shit no other human would think of doing, when it's not really that scary or life risking at all. He's a complete fake. If you want to believe false information is educational then go read the Onion, you could learn a lot from there.

  • epic one of the best games everrrrr

  • PITFALL FTW

  • i use to play this at a bar in orbka spain love this game from sega

  • the best pitfall version i've played.

  • A Master System version of Pitfall II? What? Where did you find this? I can only find an SG-1000 version.

  • This the arcade version.

  • Thank you! That clears up a lot of confusion. =)

The graphics and sound looked so much like the Master System to me.

  • Just how many Raj Diamonds are there in this game?

  • Scratch that. Upon closer examination, I saw they were money bags. My computer's a piece of shit.

  • Cool !! I loved this game when i was a child, and even today i like it.
