  • For goodness sakes. I'm a sinner and a born again believer. I thank God that He loved the world enough to send His son to set us free from our sin. There are no favourites in the Kingdom and if a homosexual turns away from his sin and repents he will be saved. Some 'Christians' need to understand that sex outside marriage with hetrosexuals is just as sinful as homosexual sex. Sin is sin. Jesus was not born to condemn the world but to save it.

  • I am sitting here with tears in my eyes because I am so sad that people held up signs like that--that people have those ideas and feelings in their hearts--people that think they are Christians. Thank God for people like Kevin5749 who get that we are all sinners who have been forgiven and loved by Christ and therefore can extend that same forgiveness and love to others.

  • this is one of the best christian songs ever made. it really sums up what modern day Christianity has become. we should nail the lyrics of this song to every church door in america!

  • Why the crap are all those freaks SMILING as they hold those signs? God has to be slapping His forehead and shaking his head at this. I'm ashamed for them. Ignorant fools. I love this song. Thanks, Derek.

  • there's one in every crowd. Even when Jesus walked the earth. They were called Pharisees. They are NOT Christians (Christ followers. Jesus said, you will know them by their fruit.

  • I disagree with those statement saying that the images are of fringe radicals...maybe they are the only ones carrying signs, but they are not the only ones who feel like that...there are tons of people who carry that sign in the music they listen to, to jokes they make, their lifestyle in general. I think this video does an awesome job of depicting the cowardice and confusion that is taking place in our country, our world and our faith....good job!

  • not a fan of the video. love the derek webb song tho!

  • The song is good, sort of. The video is stupid because they are trying to say something about the church or Christianity by using Pictures of a radical church of less than 20 people that are all related to the pastor. These idiots made the news for a while then disappeared. Exploiting fringe idiots to try and make a point is pretty lame.

  • They are still around. Go to a political event.

  • i.e= I will be turning off YOUTUBE now and asking God to teach me from his Word. I encourage you to do the same, challenge what ever your Church teaches. Ask God for more of the Holy Spirit or for more strength of truth from the Bible. Whatever your lacking. Lets seek more of him and less of the world yeah?

  • Hex yes! :)

  • I think the majority of the problemm lies with Christians being overly secularized in there attitude to one another, this can be seen in the signs that take select truths of scripture and are used to get a reaction. Also in the use of Derek Webbs great song in a cheap way to get a reaction from us all. But more so in the majorty of messages that are clearly from people (myself included )who should spend less time on YOUTUBE and more time deeply studying the Word of Our Lord.

  • I go to a christian school and we listened to this song for our morning devotions. I love it.

Our theme verse for the year is romans 12:2..."do not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind"

We Christians should transform ourselves for the better of the world, not to point fingers, like this song says, let's do what God sent us to do. Make deciples, and love love love! :D

  • ( )( )

  • for God so loved kevin (drunk/ drug user sexually perverse, hateful, self centered, guy that spent all his money on strippers and booze:) that he (GOD) sent his one and only son Jesus that....

... i may have life and have it more abundantly with Jesus

the people in this video do not know the same Jesus that first loved me, and pulled me out of that mess and saved me from Gods righteous and holy judgment and replaced my heart of stone with a heart of flesh.

  • So many unbeleivers think they are unworthy of the Love of God, and His forgiveness. What do we do as christians when we see them in that wretched state? We agree and tell them they are wrong, we are right and God hates them. What it means to give God glory is to be a correct representation of Christ. Are we representing His love? How did Jesus react to sinners? How did He react to the hypocritical church leaders? How will we react to the lost with Christs example? I can only pray for the Church

  • @kevin5749 Peace be with you, Kevin.

  • by the way, I love derek webb. hes great. nice video.

  • I am a christian, but those signs are so wrong. Homosexuality is an obamination, but so is self-rightousness. We should be humbling ourselves and loving and kindly tell people the truth, yes we should tell them that they are sinners, but we should tell them everyone is. For ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. If fact I think these people need to go back and read the first 3 chap. of Romans. there is none excluded, we are all filthy sinners, there is no one good, no not one.

  • i don't know if i'm getting the point of the video actually. i'm hearing/seeing made up stuff, not what is actually happening. and maybe how many Christians don't stand up for ANYTHING because they are scared to get labeled....but that's just me.

  • There is a lot of truth to this video. This is how the world views us as christians and they need to know us by our love and our actions.

  • Great use of the false dichotomy and stereotype.

    -Jim

  • I think you might be missing the true point and message of this song and video.

  • you might be interested in some of my videos, some of the same pictures haha. I was going to make a video to this song but it was going to be pretty much the same as yours so I don't think I will now.

  • extremely powerful video. Derek Webb is my favorite.

  • he's mine too. he really knows how to engage the issues of the church
