@majorgalvin Really i look like a jackass for adjusting my drag???? ok well thank you for your comment and view. Why don't you go out and fish instead of watching me fish.
@squirtx16 You do look like a jackass when you loosened it to the point you could not reel without it spinning... seemed like it was just to "improve" the video.
@Bbkflys sorry if it looks that way... i use 6lb test on all the reels when i knew this was a big fish i gave it some drag. Maybe a little to much. BUT THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIEW AND COMMENT.
Very nice fish! i live in Denmark, and here we or them i fish with DONT eat the fishes from the lake, because there is so few if u compare with USA :) But what would u use if there is lots of branches and wood in the lake? Crankbait or? :) because my experience tells me that jig's is NOT good when there is branches or seaweed :)
I live near Wilton, CT is that where squantz pond is? I really need to know some nice fishing spots that you can fish from the shore near Wilton...where is Squantz pond anyways??
Thats cool, first thank for watching and make sure you subscribe. Second where do you live? and what type of water are you fishing? this fish was caught on a nightcrawler harness I made a few beads and some spinners. two hooks for two crawlers. Second rapala deap divers i like the jointed ones you can cast or troll them. Live bait depends on where you are form alwives and shiners work well fished on or near the bottom.
Subscribe will be getting out soon in the yak for some walleye
I would try a good size jig head with a night crawler or leech and bounce it of the bottom. If the water isnt moving use a slip bobber and an alwive or shiner close to the bottom. check out my how to rig a slip bobber/float video
dude? awesome fish! i've heard people say it's good to let the big ones go but... heh man they're good eating! and besides, another smaller one will have the chance to get big next! =D
well for one the meat looked like it was falling apart and there have been reports of fish comeing out of this body of water with red blister like sores on the out side with meat looking the way mine did they dont have to of the red sores to have this disease i for got the name of it ill have to look it up
nice fish. What state you in? also about how deep were you fishing? I fish on Champlain. Just getting into Kayak fishing, would like to get into some walleyes.

Next time loosen your drag off the camera so you don't look like so much of a jackass.

your right about letting the big ones go. I will never keep another fish from there. All the big fish seem to have a disease with their meat.
squirtx16 2 years ago
that's too bad, man =( walleye meat is superb! do what's best for you, though man. awesome fishing to you =).
illicit0 2 years ago
how did u find that out? and how did they get a disease?
