The New Park will bring outdoor baseball back to Minnesota! And who cares if there's no roof? The Old Metropolitan didn't have a roof, and it was still a great ballpark!

Retractable roof baseball stadiums suck for the most part. Safeco is the only cool one.

If you mean you the plan to use the used heated water to heat the new staduim I know exacatly why but that plan isn't really fisable buddy because of all the red tape they would have to jump through and the fact the form a engineering stand point it almost impossible the reason the site was chosen was because it was one of the few spots downtown that you could build a ballpark not because they could run the heat from the garbage incineator. Think before you type.

its for a good reason. go read up on why they are putting it there. ill give u a clue cleaning polution. i wont say how but the stadium isnt goin to be a stadium only

What I can't get over- NO ROOF!?!?!?!?!? It snowed 8 inches the other day. Idiots. Put a toll road up between MN and WI on 94 and Hwy 36, let the cheeseheads that live in WI and steal MN jobs pay for the roof.

My buddy works for the Twins and he told me that the small space would not allow for a roof (don't know why).
I am a Brewers fan and the roof does rock. It will be interesting to seewhat fans do on cold days (will they literally be fair weather fans?)

God I wish there were a way it wouldn't end up in this spot, I still naively wish it were possible for it to end up by hte river in Saint Paul or heck even by the Xcel Energy Center would be a hell of a lot better then this half assed spot...
