I just don't get the Wallys. They are on the cutting edge of build technology using carbon & all but I like a more traditional look. Not old but something like a Swan or Shipman is what I think a sailing yacht should look like. lol Not that I will be able to afford any of them anytime soon. Just a dreamer for now.

The cockpit is a bit high up and exposed indeed, it fits the design concept of most Wally's though: Cruisers with racing legs, intended for the Med, not cross-ocean beating in big winds/waves. This one in particular was commissioned with a unique design concept from an leisure point of view: the "terrace by the sea" layout which means there cannot be a cockpit aft.
This stunning boat was in Minorca this July, berthed a few slips away from us in Mahon. The owners really sail it this aggressively, for this they have my admiration. It spent a full day out and anchored south of Mahon ... followed by a gorgeous Wally fast boat ...
Could this yacht be crewed by just one person? If not, what is the biggest sailing yacht that can be operated, (from start of journey to finish), completely single handed?
