Wolfram Alpha will never compete with Google simply because they do different things. Wolfram Alpha is designed as one giant knowledge database. It is really revolutionary.

one thing i like about Wolfram Alpha is that it tells you where the site originated and how many people visit ect. Cool video! keep it up! i gotta try Chrome 2 also :P

Firstly Wolfram Alpha won't be able to rival GOOGLE cuz it's in alpha. Maybe in the future, it's gonna rival it.

Secondly... FACEBOOK? Well i don't really care bout Iran. They can block whatever sites they want. FB's not gonna stand it when other countries are going to block facebook. People won't like it at all.

That search engine u talked about is rlly good, in some ways it is better than google, i.e the searching for dates, what happened on those days etc. But google has far more results if u are lookingfor a certain website/informatoin on a paticular topic

i just searched my birthday and it came up with all the stuff like what day of the week it was and even what phase of the moon it was in

but yeah i rli dont think iran can do that, its not fair but would this affect people with internet enabled phones aswell??

First of all, I don't think it's fair for a country to block Facebook-it's just not right. Also Wolfram Alpha defiantly aren't rivaling Google. Honestly do they have satellite maps or a 7.5GB email client that supports documents?

Iran has absolutely every right to block whatever websites they want, if North Korea, China, Myanmar, Syria, Tunisia, Vietnam, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, South Korea (blocking NK websites), and Australia (planning to block 1300 websites and "filter" 10,000) can block them then y not Iran? Australia also bans video games rated R18+, UK also blocked some "graphic" games. So Iran blocking Facebook is not even close to what other countries are blocking.

I didn't even notice it updated, lol. No wonder the middle-click scrolling option suddenly appeared for me.YouTube videos still stream slower than they play for me though, which I don't think happens in Firefox.

Google will never be beated by Wolfram, they will bring out their sack, and sack them... That's kind of what google does...

Also, did you guys know, that everyting sent from, or to a GMail adress, google has the legal right to claim they own it? So if you send the information of something to someone, that you're gonna patent, google can just say "we own it, and we're gonna sell it" It's in the fine print of the licence agreement for GMail, personally I think they have gone WAY to far!

If you watch the video in HD, you will experience "lag" if you don't have a moderate GFX card. Integrated cards in laptops usually have problems playing HD quality media.
