Nice beat. i think people who have never owned an mpc watch these types of videos and think its easy or they could do better. Is this a groundbreacking beat? No....not exactly. But its a very nice beat imo. The guy is doin what he likes and thats what matters. It aint as easy as it looks people.
@snowdjagha but in most cases, the beats ARE good the only problem is that people are caring too much on the rapper instead of the rapper AND the beat. So the beat in more commercial "hip-hop" is disregarded most of the times..
Hi, I am a sound engineer. Your tracks has lots of potential and I know I can take it to another level. I work with pro tools 8, top of the line outboard gear and an ssl console. Did at Lars and worked with countless hip hop, r & b, rock and jazz artists. If you do not already have an engineer let me know.
i already released 2 songs but they are more or less to discover the software and what i can do with it. i ordered now some hardware that i can use the software on a real gameboy but it will arrive in 2 weeks maybe... until then i have to use a emulator. and about the c64 there are some transfer problems... but pls check out my artist packe on 8bc if you want =) its:
yeah. i'll get a midi interface for the gameboy, soon. and for the commodore64, too. i'm also working on a midi project. im building a midi "kelstone". just search kelstone in youtube. gonna be awsome when its finish.
@hitcreatormusic bold statement. i been into music production for a few years, and have been a lover of hiphop since i was a youngun and i personally thought you flipped it quite boring. no offence, just my opinion.
@titaanboy well, its all a matter of taste. i think different about it than i did a year ago. its just a guy working some beats out with his mpc and having fun. the beat in the end was a bit overpacked after all imo but as i said, its a matter of taste.
Keep your eyes on craigslist...I just got a 2000xl last week<<< the "old" style with the zip drive, not the flash drive, with the SCSI, carry-case, for seven bills...keep your eyes open...stay away from the red/blue 1000's...

Ive got a problem with the pitch shift function. When I tune up the sample + 1.00 or -1.00 than the sample sounds damaged.
The file I loaded the sample from is not the problem. Can you help me out?

why people keep doin this kind of "looping". they surelly can chop into more diferent samples but they insist doin this... the beats become boring!
snowdjagha 2 years ago 11
It would not be boring if Jay Z was on it or 50 cent lol.
PmPbreeze 2 years ago
you think?! i dont! just because we have a great rapper in it (just in jay z's case), doesnt mean the beat is good!! and 50 cent? he's nothing...
snowdjagha 2 years ago 3
I agree and honestly I think Kanye is the worst overrated beatmaker ever.
MrBigs72 1 year ago
kanye? why you talkin about kanye?

@MrBigs72 where did you come up with that? go check his beats dude, he's not over rated...

@Polidotv2 I believe he is overly hyped up.

i think its more kinda boring or not?
EvilKnebl 3 years ago
If your into music production, it wouldn't be boring to you.
hitcreatormusic 3 years ago 10
hmm
yes thats maybe true=)
but i wanna start make music using drumcomputer/sampler, synths, maybe a c64(commodore 64 to make some 8bit shit) ;)
but i am new at all this and also i dont have enough money to buy a lot...
i am just exploring what there is, what i maybe could use and so on..
im absolute newbie at this =P

beatnik8tv 2 years ago 2
oh btw do you know some cool oldschool (->cheap) equipment i could buy?
EvilKnebl 3 years ago
u should start out with running reason on a computer
PandemicMusic 3 years ago
oh i tried reason4...
but i dont want to make music with my mouse.
im searching for some real synths samplers...
EvilKnebl 3 years ago
Everybody should start with software. (It's where you learn the basics)
You don't need to use the mouse to make music. Get a midi keyboard.
Starting off simple makes it clearer to you what you (really) want in terms of equipment etc.
dazzelya 3 years ago
thank you for the comment but i started 8bit music now =)
bought a commodore 64 and gameboy software is on its way, too.
the other stuff is to expensive for me and 8bit music is just awsome. im happy with that =)
