ive been to them live, theyre ok,its really fun, the singer cant do it as good live but they werent using that crappy reverb thing at the gig i was at, anyway i enjoyed it

Mayb u havnt noticed but every bands vocals sound worse live. they cut diff parts short and just bcuz they dont sing a note the way it sounds on the record doesnt mean they cant hit it. I.e. Saosin singer

And Anthony Green is perfect live. Better than the recording.

Look up Secret and Whisper, he hits every note.

If you can't hit the notes right live, that means you aren't a good vocalist.

In the studio, the voice can be modified.

listen secret and whisper is good in the studio, but thier live stuff is sooooooo bad. like i love them but the guy cant hit his notes to save his life! way to much autotune and production in the studio to make him sound as good as he does. . . but hey they are good! haha

I know right? No offense, but a lot of Tooth And Nail bands have a habit of sounding awesome in studio, but sucking live. For example, Ivoryline, Secret And Whisper, and Dead Poetic.

I wonder why though. Their vocals don't sound auto-tuned at all.

Okay, so I'm gonna jump in, add my 2 cents and then jump back out. This particular recording not the best!!!! He does have a great voice live. Saw them at 9:30 Club in DC and they were AMAZING (sorry Sk8ter)!!! They played with Scary Kids Scaring Kids. Overall, Fantastic show. He sounds out of breath in this recording.

DUDE, stop saying hes not a good singer. hes amazing, try yelling for an hour each night, stretching ur voice low to high, after 3 days, ur voice would be gone. u try doing this, they just started, im sure his voice isnt used to singing ever single night. take some facts into account b4 u judge band.

Thats cause the vocals are distorted on albums (intentionaly) and he was singing without distortion.
