This is so good! :D I love this show! Scooby-Doo has always been my favorite cartoon and film series (the two first ones, the newer ones suck!). In this series, they made everything realistic and I've gotta admit: it was a bit different for me, but it's actually better then the previous series 'Shaggy and Scooby get a clue'. That was lame! I'm glad that they've made this!

Although I shouldn't watch this. I'm in my fifth year of high school :D

This show is pretty hysterical. If you are gonna keep the old characters and costumes, expect some deconstructive humour to make it work.

Scooby doo Mystery Inc is so stupid. I want new mysterys NOT NEW CHARACTERS. Velma and Shaggy were in relationships on this show (Which is Really stupid) and Velma has to much anger and emotion. Daphne always did like Fred but this show takes it too far, she is obsessed with him. Fred is obsessed with traps which he was not in the original series. he created the traps but was not obsessed. Overall fred is a idiot not a leader like the original.

I really despise this show, it really messed up everything.

Fred's trap usually never worked and he wasn't always obsessed with them. He also wasn't an idiot.

Daphne didn't spend all her time trying to get Fred to notice her.

Velma didn't like Shaggy that way,and she's smart and independent. She would never turn into a jealous freak.

Shaggy wouldn't change for anyone, and his main focus has never been girls.

The problem with this new show may be that they use more romantic teenagers dilemmas between solving mysteries, so it became an adaptation for this new generation when CSI and The Law and Order covers the mistery solving and young people likes Jersey Shore and Twilight and other bullcrap things.

Dont blame the show for going with the flow, our generation looks more and more dead that Marilyn Manson's career each new show.

But gotta tell, you can give it a chance.

This show has so much more to offer; parent issues, relationship issues, personalities for everyone, a continuous storyline, realistic near-death experiences, Fred getting scary-pissed (then stupid-emo, although I understand where he was coming from), and enough H-B and WB references to leave any fan hospitalized with uncontrollable laughter for weeks!

I think this variant is fantastic. The formerly dull characters of Freddie, Daphne and Velma are featured more prominently than in previous versions. I think it's hilarious how obsessed Freddie is with traps and how oblivious he is to Daphne's affection.

I think this is a great show for the kiddies... I saw it on the other day... I like how this one has an underlining narrative that connects the episodes. They're not just random mysteries that don't have anything to do with each other, and I'm feeling the animation as well... It's beautiful.

Hmmm from what I remember, I think it was in A Pup Named Scooby-Doo which is strongly hinted to be a prequel series of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? the reason was they had a friend who is in the factory business who made Scooby Snacks for the gang and which he also decided to sell in stores world wide.

@djjonwong There's a few different reasons for Scooby Snacks to exist/not exist in different stories. There's no right or wrong. For this incarnation I think they didn't put Scooby Snacks because the gang aren't traveling detectives but just Crystal Cove locals who solve mysteries as a hobby and personal reason to help the town. And in SD, Where Are You?, they were well known if not world renowned.

Wow, i haven't seen TV in a while, after watching 2 episodes of this it seems good. I watched the original SC as a kid & the other failed attemps CN put up.this one i like. The drawing style they use is new, they don't use crappy bands for the themes, velma's got attitude! lol. though they add in the daphne being all shy towards liking fred is kinda weird but i guess that's what they went with, anyways i like this show. i read some of the comments that hate they velmaXshaggy thing among others
