  • I'm a Jets fan from NE Ohio, and this is depressing. Glad to see there are true fans down there and maybe someday you'll get a third chance. A few years ago, I lost a minor league team that meant the world to me, so I know how it feels. RIP Atlanta.

  • a bird

  • I feel bad for the loyal thrasher fans, who loved the team. I know the attendance was suffering, but the small fan base was a passionate one. Im happy hockey is back in Winnipeg, though. Those fans love the sport and never should have lost their team in the first place. I just don't see why it had to be you guys that left, when it should have been phoenix.

  • @CieraEiseleNumber9: The Georgia state bird is the Brown Thrasher.

  • just curious. what exactly is a thrasher?

  • MAYBE ATLANTA WILL GET ANOTHER TEAM BECAUSE SASKATOON WOULD LIKE ONE TOO!!

  • nearly 8 months later, even talking about the move is like adding salt to a wound...

  • Lets go trashers!, Lets go trashers!, Lets go trashers!

  • any and all people commenting on this, HAVE A HEART these people are going through what my dad has been going through, he had bought season tickets and he was waiting for the next season and then they said that the jets will be sold to pheniox or something like that. act as if you had your team sold, and dont be so mean, some people from winipeg are like just being all pissy but they backed off because they finnaly realised that atlanta is going through that pain that should never be felt. Hope.

  • I was interviewed by Daniel Squizzato from The Fourth Period magazine for my reaction to the Atlanta Thrashers leaving. It was just published yesterday and can be found in the Winter 2011-12 issue. He found me because you the fans have made this video something special. A final tribute to our boys. May we never forget. Thanks for all your Views, Likes, and Comments.

  • thanks Atlanta for some great years of hockey you will truly be missed by many hockey fans. i wish the best of luck in Winnipeg for the upcoming years

  • @nickleization no you shouldnt say that you should be saying i hope we get the team back, i should be saying that but replace Winnipeg with Atlanta, although i am from winnipeg i will miss the thrashers dearly, i have alot of thrashers stickers and put them on pictures of mine but some of them so old the dried up and chipped away.

  • I miss the thrashers. :'(

  • Atlanta will and should never get an NHL team again!! Move Phoenix and Florida back to places the NHL belongs, such as Quebec or Kansas City!

  • i don't understand why people would dislike this, its really good :')

  • Good video, no one is saying there are no diehard thrasher fans..but at the end of the day your turnouts were a joke and obviously some people liked hockey there..it just wasn't enough..it's not Canada..it's the way it is...

  • @jmihalco1983 This is false...you can blame the move on the sale of the Thrashers to the Atlanta Spirit Group 7(?) years ago.

  • this is so sad. :(

  • One down, 2 to go.

    #NYIslanders

    #PhoenixCoyotes

  • @xcessive8: I agree with you on the Coyotes they are as good as gone, but disagree with you on the Islanders I believe they will leave Nassau County, but will stay on the Island because if they don't that will truly be sad they won 4 straight Stanley Cups in the 80's and have had some wonderful players wear the sweater, but if they leave all blame should go to Mike Milbury for the awful deals he made as GM -.-

  • @xcessive8: along with Nassau County for turning down the lighthouse project -.-

  • @91eddierazo I actually think Columbus will be gone before NYI. And I think the NYR having a huge fanbase, a great team and an original six have a large impact on the fanbase of NYI. If I lived in NY I would cheer for the Rangers like everyone should

  • @xcessive8 actualy surprisingly columbus has fans, i don't see them going anywhere.

  • @ebman3 Me neither. They are in a really bad situation but as soon as they start winning then they will fill your seats. I do think that NYI wont last very long. I can't see anyone really choosing NYI over the Rangers

  • @xcessive8: Just have them build the whole team around John Tavares (which i think they are) since he is becoming a beast I mean those fans just want to see a winner once they start winning they will come see them either it be in Brooklyn or Queens (maybe) I mean they've been but through a lot thanks to Milbury basically destroyed that franchise -.-

  • @xcessive8: I hope Columbus isn't gone because it's not like Columbus or for that matter Ohio isn't a hockey state because it is since i've seen a lot of hockey support of Ohio State Hockey, but just management I mean for 11 seasons now they have made the playoffs once! and the fans just had an Occupy Nationwide to express their frustration, so I feel if the owners don't clean house in management they will most definitely be out

  • I fucking hate you Atlanta Spirit Group!!

  • Sad.......

  • "Wherever you go, and wherever you play always know we will be forever grateful for your gift to us." I AM NOT THANKFUL OF THE TRASH THAT WAS THE THRASHERS. What is that? Teaching us how to lose year after year? Making the playoffs one season out of 11 and getting swept in the first round? Trading away any decent player because the team was too cheap to pay players.

  • I am glad the Thrashers are dead. They were a joke to the city of Atlanta. I lived in Atlanta during the duration of the Thrashers and it was horrible to go down to the Thrashers. An AHL / ECHL quality team at best. Meanwhile, Don Waddell kept his job for putting out one of the worst franchise's in the history of the NHL. Finally, Atlanta fans were the worst in the league. I laugh at all the losers who had season tickets to watch this trash.

  • @Jimnsa16 And you're a joke to the citizens of Atlanta. Hopefully you ended up back wherever you came from.

  • When you see it through true fans eyes its a shame to see a team move

  • Maybe Im sounding kind of harsh here, but maybe if you showed up to a fucking game, you'd have your team

  • @ryan13canada Maybe if you actually knew why the team moved you'd know it had nothing to do with the fans. But you're from Canada so that's probably hard to comprehend.

  • @aquariex24 it kind of had to do with the fans, not entirely though.

  • @ryan13canada when you have the shittiest owners in the history of the NHL and bought the team to turn around to sell them but got stuck with the team and put no money or effort into producing a quality team so you can see why people didnt go to games. most fans didnt show up because of the poor management and in hopes change would come

  • Having watched the Jets move to Phoenix in 1996, I know how it feels to be a hockey fan losing your home team. Don't let our enthusiasm fool you: this first year of the Winnipeg Jets' new era is bittersweet for Jets fans.

  • *tears pour down the face of Jordan Wilson, Atlanta's BIGGEST fan! True Blueland believer!*

  • who's the composer of the music? title?

  • @meanasscobra the song is called "Road to Perdition" and the composer is Thomas Newman

  • jme rappelle quand chu aller a ATL voir une game la grosse tête d'oiseau au plafond qui lance du feux quand les Thrashers scorait c'tais impressionnant.

  • 1:11 look at that. look how many people are there.

and Atlanta didnt care about this team...

  • @cigiesandvtines Every team is going to have sellouts once in a while otherwise they shouldn't of been in the NHL in the first place. I can make a 20 minute montage of Thrashers games where there was barely any fan turnouts. (I think that game at 1:11 was in the playoffs too)

  • @GoPensGo377 it was no doubt in the playoffs.

if you look at ATL sports and attendance, if the team is a losing one, they dont show up.

they didnt go to Braves games for decades, and they are just now starting to go to Falcons and Hawks games. they were too young to be consistently good for the fans to latch onto and want to support

  • Fantastic video. You captured every emotion.

  • Thanks Atlanta. We'll take good care of em...

  • Being a Whalers fan, I understand how much this sucks. It will really sting now, but you'll be able to get over it through time.

  • I am a Winnipeg Jets fan got season tickets, have never felt more home with the NHL back in Winnipeg, games sold out, crowd going crazy, watching this video really is so sad, I mean looked like a lot of fans cared and I mean I personally feel for you guys, its emotional to see this, I think its good Jets are back, cause almost everyone in Manitoba is excited and loves them, the cheer of the crowd when Jets score is such heaven,I thank you guys for being the fans in front of us, you guys were great

  • @CFLNHLFIFAFAN you are the classy fan that makes it ease the pain. I was one of the dieahard fans (still am ya know?)

  • @biggestgreendayfan

well thats good and bad, I mean really feel for you man, sucks they left, I was too young when they left I was like 1 and stuff, and so I was Leaf fan my whole life since, but like I went to Moose games and always loved NHL, and everyone wanted Jets back, like we all wanted NHL back, we our like huge hockey city and province and haven't being happier, love them so much, I like 16 but such a huge fan I spend alot my money on tickets and jerseys and hats of jets already

  • @biggestgreendayfan

but ya ran out of room there, but man that sweet to hear you were huge die hard fans of Atlanta Thrashers, good to hear, I bet there were still little bunch there that love thrashers there like Jets here, but ya so you still follow Jets then eh? can you watch anygames there??

  • I watched this video and I kinda teared up and I'm not even a thrashers fan. I do cheer for the Jets (after the Oilers, hence my username) and I wish they could've came into the league via expansion so that this wouldn't happen. There are fans in Atlanta and that day sucked for them. Understand that Jets fans just wanted another chance in the league again. They've felted the relocation feeling before in 1996. I'm from Canada and who knows maybe you'll get a team again, someday...

  • @oilerfan871 u kinda teared up i straight out cried, when i seen all those fans and those kids in the hospitals, i just wished i could give them the thrashers back, for all those people in atlanta i will try find an atlanta thrashers jersey for a good price and i will wear it to a jet (thrasher) game, you will never be forgotten, from the winnipeger with a heart and doesnt like seeing people sad. if the jets win the cup this year, i hope they bring the cup there so you can feel the NHL again.:,(

  • @oilerfan871 Considering that this was Atlanta's second attempt at an NHL franchise, it seems unlikely. However, if they could find a solvent ownership and a stable fanbase, no doubt Bettman will be open to another franchise moving there. There's a huge TV market share in Atlanta - whether the NHL could muscle into a sizable piece of the pie stands to be seen.

  • @oilerfan871 nope they had two none of them worked out its just to bad i loved ATL

  • @oilerfan871 Im a penguins fan and I live South carolina few hours away from Atlanta but I really liked the Thrashers and I knew alot of people who went to Thrashers games and they loved it even though they werent hockey fans. The team really got people more intrested in hockey I thought it would promote hockey in georgia and in some parts of southcarolina untill I herd that they were leaving. All I really want is just another chance for an Atlanta team

  • Who gave a shit 'bout thrasher.. it was doomed, DOOMED I TELL YA

  • They took away the 2008 NHL Allstar game mural in CNN center. I had a near breakdown. I came home and started to cry. :(

  • @619CoLt false, the Coyotes are the ones that should have gone back to Winnipeg. Not the Thrashers. Thrashers got screwed by their ownership.

  • CANADA SUCKS

  • @DannyGloverIsAwesome hey buddy shut up its not are fault they left i liked the thrashers but their in the place they should've have always been in

  • Atlanta cannot support a franchise, it's a great pro wrestling city (NWA,WCW) but terrible hockey market. They lost the flames and now the Thrashers they don\t deserve shit.

  • @LAbooby fuck you.

  • @gthyhtujjuk Butthurt hockey fan who can't admit his favorite team never belonged in Atlanta

  • Atlanta should get another team soon because eventually Saskatoon is gonna want one.

  • Truly sad what happened. Thanks to mismanagement, bad ownership and poor decisions in general, Atlanta never really had a chance even though it had huge potential. I really feel for the Thrashers fans who stuck around despite all of that; they deserved better than this.

  • My first game (that i kept my stub for) was March 29 2000 against the Phoenix Coyotes. I'll never forget it. Always cherish every memory like i have over the years. Im not sure if yall know what it's like to be told all the time that 'you dont deserve a hockey team' or that hockey will never work here. Yes it can!! It just takes good solid ownership who knows how to treat the fans right. Throw in some winning seasons and it all works. Look at Nashville. Neve

  • Go jets Go!

  • I couldn't even imagine how hard it would be to part with my team. For it to happen to you guys twice is awful. I didn't think much about the sale at the time, but seeing how it affected the true fans in Atlanta, I'm deeply saddened for you guys. Hang in there, hopefully one more chance

  • Not going to comment on all the imbeciles in this thread who talk out of their rectums. I just want to say that was a lovely tribute. I miss my team terribly. For the 1st 3 years of the franchise, I attended every home game with my father. Later, when finances changed, I had to settle for the occasional in person game and the NHL Center Ice package. But, my dad and I were die hard Thrashers fans. He passed away in march, just months before the team was sold to Winnipeg. Awful year all around.

  • 1) Horrible logo, colors and team name "the thrashers" who the hell picked that??

    2) Too much competition from Hawks, Braves, Falcons

    3) Atlanta will never get there team back...

  • what are you guys doing with you arena?

  • all you guys over their in atlanta, just remember this, when you feel sad, just wish that you will get your team back. If you do, we could tell that you have hope, hope never leads to bad things, unless you hope for bad things. Hope for the kids who want the team that they have known for so long, hope for the kids that sit in that hospital, crying because there family can only go there so often. Hope for onething that you want, eventually it will come back. I know your sad, but you are tough.

  • @tommyrock69 Let me rephrase that... It was around... nevermind. What difference does it make anyway?

  • Trashers <3 NHL will never be the same..

  • @cryteeek Lol um im pretty sure the NHL is better now having a full building full of passionte fans in Winnipeg EVERY night. Id say thats better than a team where only 200 people show up to a rally to save the team. Put hockey where its number 1 where it doesn`t take a backseat to Basketball or Baseball or Football, hate to break it to you but that place isn`t Atlanta.

  • @:23, FUCKING GO DEVILS! Condolensces to ATL. Fuck Winnipeg

  • @MetroUltras Sour grapes a-hole

  • @MetroUltras i'm sure the thrashers' 4 fans are very disappointed.

  • go jets

  • atlanta had the ugliest fucken jerseys to ever grace the nhl, welcome back winnipeg jets! where hockey belongs!

  • @kingoftheroad554 Atlanta Jerseys: Blue

    WInnipeg Jerseys: Blue

    ...

  • @baragon4N20 are you retarded..

  • @kingoftheroad554 I guess sarcasm in my comment was hard to detect? While i think your original comment was stupid, my comment wasn't serious. Oh and using the word retarded only makes you seems all the more idiotic. Just throwing that out there.

  • @kingoftheroad554 You are exactly the kind of hockey "fan" that makes Canada look ugly in general and Winnipeg just look like a bunch of hicks. Try to show a little class.

  • This video made me realize how hard it is for a city to lose a franchise for all they do within the city. I couldn't imagine losing a team here in Philly, well we lost the AHL Phantoms but I loved going to those games because they were at the Spectrum.

Deep sympathy to true fans in Atlanta, and I think its unfair the way you all lost your team. It sorta reminds me of the same way the Expos left Montreal. If I could i would move both teams back to where they belong.

I hope yur happy Jets fans

  • this gave me the chills. people dont know how many die hard thrashers fans there were in atlanta.

  • I went to there last game against the penguins best seats i ever had hopefully they will come back to Atlanta

  • probably the best thing that ever happened to hockey hockey in georgia? LOL good riddance atlanta

  • @ MGSDude01 - you say that the thrashers "had a lot of fanbase" which I am not sure what your getting at. if the thrashers had a "lot of fanbase" then there would be no reason to have to move it. if it was not winnipeg then it would have been moved some where else, like Quebec. I find that your comment to be empty or without support when you say "success or no success" winnipeg should have left the thrashers alone. we were ready for any team, not just the thrashers. so please explain

  • It is also true that the Thrashers had a poor fanbase but now, they don't have to worry about that anymore.

I mean that out of respect.

  • @JRx45 They didn't have a poor fan base. How many games did you attend? You want to see a poor fan base, go to Uniondale NY and look at an Islanders game. But still, you don't see Bettman jumping over the table to sell them off.

No, the Thrashers had a very STRONG fan base until about 2008. The team suffered from terrible mismanagement and an ownership that didn't understand hockey. Stars were sold off and the team was never presented as a viable product.

  • @tommyrock69 I actually attended 2 home games and the arena had about 800 - 1100 fans in there. I'm not trying to put them down but.. that's what I remember seeing when I was watching them play. i apologize if I disrepected your (former) team. But that's the way I saw it.

  • @JRx45 The Thrashers out-drew the Islanders EVERY year they were in the NHL and were in the middle for most of their stay even though they only made the playoffs once. The Islanders have been basement dwellers with attendance for over a DECADE! Check ESPN. So, the attendance thing doesn't stick. Bettman won't sell his home team.

And I was a season ticket holder. Until 2008, the place was packed. Don't know what game you saw.

  • @tommyrock69 don't worry, the Islanders have 3 years left. After 2015, they are gone.

  • i didnt even like the Thrashers but i feel bad for the team and the fans -_-

  • This is a really sad thing to see. The Atlanta Thrashers were a really good hockey team with a lot of fanbase and support. And it was a really good thing for people to get into hockey in the most unexpected place. From a Red Wings fan, my opinion is Winnipeg should have left the Thrashers alone, success or no success.

  • @ JRx45 - jets does have a mascott. the AHL hockey team "manitoba MOOSE" moved to St.Johns Newfoundland to be the IceCaps. the team Mascot did not move with them. I believe in memory of that team, which we all here in winnipeg feel a loss that they moved, kept the mascot. His name is MICK e MOOSE. yeah kinda corney play on words relating to Mickey Mouse but the kids love him, he will remind of our past in the joy of the Manitoba moose and also what happened before the moose. STAY JETS STAY!!

  • @MrAsphaltassault I'm from NY and I'm a Ranger fan so I hope that doesn't get in the way. I say the Jets are going to do well in Winnipeg.

  • so sad...

  • I'm from Winnipeg, Winnipeg felt the same way when we lost our Jets years ago. It is sad to see your home team leave, but just wait, and you'll get them back.

  • Does the Winnipeg Jets even have a mascot yet???

  • This might be a bit rude, but Atlanta didn't deserve a team. I'm glad that the Jets will be playing with a legitimate fan base now and have some motivation to win, not sending their mascot to jail.

  • @coyotes3344 Wow... yeah, that's definitely rude. Are you a Coyotes fan? You have no place saying anything about who should have a team. You were so close to losing yours. Put yourself in my shoes. Do you deserve to have your team move? I think I deserve a team just as much as anyone else. Elitism has no place in hockey.

  • @BlackSkyLovesMe No, I'm not a Coyotes fan, nice assumption though. I'm a Hawks fan and have been ever since I got season tickets back in '92.

  • @coyotes3344 You're a Phoenix fan, so why are you talking? Your team was the other one suspected to be moved to Winnipeg, and your team had to be bought by the NHL because of bankruptcy. As a Canes fan, we get a lot of jokes that aren't true about our fans and attendance. It's even worse when a team has those kinds of joke be centered in some sort of fact. I miss our rivals. Atlanta and Carolina is like Yin and Yang. It was a great rivalry. Go Canes.

  • @FrdyNightsNRaleigh Congratulations on the assumption. I'm no Coyotes fan just because my name has coyotes in it.

But, I'm very sorry you feel that way.

  • @coyotes3344 It's VERY rude and uncalled for. I take it that you never attended a Thrashers game nor spoke to any fans in Atlanta. Your impression of Atlanta is probably derived from the media. So, my son and I are not legitimate hockey fans?

  • GO JETS GO! Being a life long Jets fan, I thank Atlanta for coming to Winnipeg!

  • im not a thrasher fan but i would be complete devastated if my Minnesota Wild ever left =(

  • @getcrunked3 do you know why the north stars moved?

  • @PLERKTA NORM GREED >=(

  • Damn I couldn't imagine if my Calgary Flames left to another city. This is truly heartbreaking for the Atlanta fans.

  • I feel bad for the hocket fans who loved the thrashers however it wasn't a good hockey market and it did fail twice.

  • @oilers000 It wasn't the market. It was the ownership. By your logic, the Islanders should be out of business. No one goes to their games. As a season ticket holder since year one, most games I attended until about 2008, were packed to the rafters. Youth hockey exploded. Don't believe all that you see in the media.

  • the thrashers were a discrace to the nhl !

  • @superhotjeb Disgrace to the NHL?!?!? Get the fuck out of here with that bullshit. The team was decent, their fans were dedicated...the city and the teams management just didn't get behind them. A disgrace? That is incredibly disrespectful.

  • @SuicideNation haha dedicated fans???? yeah 10'000 fans a game is dedicated xD

  • @superhotjeb You are going to doubt the dedication of the ACTUAL fans of the team just because the team itself wasn't popular? That's ridiculous. Seriously. There are teams that have solid teams that just don't draw. Hell look at the Devils. Good team, should be huge because of the area, but they don't draw all that well. But you wouldn't say the Devils are a disgrace.

  • @SuicideNation the devils have made the playoffs 14 years in a row except last season they also have been in the league for awhile now and have had some hall of fame talent go through there organization and they have won cups. the thrashers have never won a playoff game and have a single division title.they average around 10 to 12 thousand fans a game which is terrible.the management there is terrible aswell. like come on not a single playoff win in there history thats pretty bad haha.

  • @superhotjeb Explain to me then why the Devils don't draw worth a shit? Their attendance for a such a good team is really not very good. Hockey in Atlanta just doesn't work. Flames and Thrashers both left.

  • the thrashers were a discrace to the nhl !

  • depressing video and sorry for your loss, but i can promise you we will take good care of your beloved Thrashers signed - Jets Nation

  • if the Thrashers had to move, it should've been to Quebec City. It'd be so awesome to have the Battle of Quebec again!

  • @LoN3wOlF5tudi0s Give it another year and there's a good chance you'll see the Coyotes.

  • @JRx45 Well said... thrashers for life

  • @murphyc763 Thank you.

  • My heart is truly but unselfishly broken for the loss of the Atlanta Thrashers. As a hockey fan, this is not about how many games you win, how many goals you score, how many players are injured, how many PIMs are racked up or what kind of atamosity you face. The point is... These Thrashers poured their hearts out day in, day out. Win or lose, we've always admired what they've done for us for the 12 years they had a chance to wear the baby blue every night for each and every one of you fans.

  • Short and quick death of that plastic shit.

  • To the true fans in Atlanta,

I am saddened for ultimately what the team meant to the children's programs, the hospital visitations and other charity programs that the team and players were involved in. It's the cancer patient, or the burn victim in the childrens hospital that are the real losers here, they don't care about the business of the game, they just need and want their heros to be there for them.

Trust that legacy of giving and care will continue here.

    DBP1990 ( Winnipeg)

  • @dbp1990 just remember you guys still have the Falcons, Braves and Hawks to do good stuff like that. Winnipeg had nothing of that sort until the Thrashers became the Jets

  • @chisox100 The Blue Bombers don't do anything?

  • Atlanta had 2 chances to be a home of a hockey team. They blew both. Good thing they moved.

  • it sucks that one team had to die to make another... i am from winnipeg and i love our jets, but i will always still be true to the thrashers..

  • YO ATLANTA DON'T WORRY YOU GUYS HAVE THE BRAVES, FALCONS, AND HAWKS...SHOW UP TO THE GAMES...AND PROTEST TO HAVE A HOCKEY TEAM BACK TO ATLANTA...IM FROM LA AND WE LOST TWO NFL TEAMS WHICH SUCKS AND HOPEFULLY NEXT YEAR WE WILL GET A TEAM IN LA 2012....BUT ON THE BRIGHT SIDE IS BRAVES ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS SOMETHING DODGERS CAN'T DO

  • Trolling people are trolling. The whole purpose of this video is to thank the team and to thank the fans. Nothing more, nothing less. Get over yourselves.

  • @shivanhaven Correction... You said 'fans' you should have said 'fan'

  • LOLOL, too bad ONLY 200 people showed up to 'save' your team. The tickets were low priced too. So yeah, Atlanta didn't deserve to keep this team.

  • atlanta deserves a team not cayotes

  • @sethclearwaterfan1 You had your chances with the Flames..

and then you had your chance with the trashers (misspelled on purpose)

no, you don't deserve a team.

  • @77HeIix SUCKS I HAVE TO CHANGE MY COLLECTION OF SPORTS LOGOS WALLPAPER...GRRR...BUT JETS SHOULD HAVE COME TO LA...WE CAN ALWAYS USE A 2ND HOCKEY TEAM

  • i think newyork should give away one of their team to atlanta im a jet but i love atlanta

  • @sethclearwaterfan1 New York? You mean the Isles who at their worst, still makes HUGE amounts more money then the Thrashers and Falcons put together with their tv contract? You are retarded, Atlanta is the ONLY team in modern history of hockey to ever get a second chance at pro hockey. This is over.......forever, Atlanta is a college sports town, not professional sports.

I feel for them, they didn't get a chance to say goodbye properly, for that I am sorry.

  • the thrashers are moved to winnipeg and suddenly fans arrive at the atlanta rink.

  • that are in the True North Group , i will tell them where the History lies and its in Atlanta i will Respect that till the day i will die , this is my team and will always be my team , the Jets theat left winnipeg in 1996 is a whole different franchise and team all the way around , this is a fresh start for me and i will cheer our new team always .

  • Hello Thrasher fans , when i watched this video it actually brought a tear to my eyes :( , i am a New Jets Fan i was one of the first to get a Season ticket in the drive to 13,000 and now i got a Pro Jets jersey With Ladds number and C patch on it and i got tons of new Jets gear stuff . I just want you guys to know i am truly sorry for the Loss of the Thrashers i will do my best to always have the memories in the players minds when i see them , and even to owner ship witch i know some people

  • They are die-hard guys down there. I know I'd want to die if my Oilers ever moved out of town. Just the thought of it is reminiscent of Ryan Smyth crying in the airport media conference that day.

  • @TheThenerdanotor12 its half and half. if true north haven`t bought the team then ya.

  • Awesome video. I hope you thrasher fans will stick with the team in winnipeg, theyll take good care of the team.

  • Wow, i guess Atl does have die-hard fans. Didnt know hockey was big down south. But RIP Thrashers u guys deserve better up North.

  • i can tell from this vid that the small amount of fans the thrashers had were die hard fans i fell bad for you guys

  • The Atlanta Thrashers were a DISGRACE to the GOOD expansion teams!

The Lightning, the Sharks, and my beloved Ducks...THOSE are the expansion teams that deserve to live...the REST...

Phoenix, you are FINISHED...the Nordiqes are well on their way back!

And since hte Nordiques/Jets/Whalers all left one after the other in a three year span, and so many sunbelt teams have failed...one hockey team is enough, Florida, the good one...

Give Hartford the Panthers to raise the Whale again!

  • @MisterSherlockHamlet The best NHL expansion teams are Tampa, San Jose, Carolina, Colorado and this year, Florida because they are looking pretty good right now.

  • the 1 person who disliked this was the only Atlanta Thrasher Fan

  • Phoenix was the target, unfortunetly Bettman is such a dick he decided to move Atlanta. We'll take care of your team.

  • sorry.

  • okay anyone who is all talking shit about the thrashers and making people from atlanta feel even more sad about it, just stop, because i bet every one of you have lost someone or something that you loved, and i know that you would hate it if somebody from atlanta came to winnipeg or where ever you live and started saying that there glad that you lost that person or thing and had no feelings for how you feel but i know they would not do that because they are awesome people. so please at least say

  • Tears of Joy. Go Jets Go!
