  • I don't believe this Airbus 318 can fly from Britian to America!

  • what other airlines stop at shannon for customs?

  • What was the load factor like?

  • @Cabincrewifly There's 32 seats and most of the flights I have done have an average of around 25 pax. It went into the black much much sooner than it was predicted to.

  • @Winlogoff There's two plugs in each seat, one for your laptop or other device and then another for either another device or the individual media players that are supplied after take off from Shannon for in flight entertainment.

I didn't pay anything. I got paid. I work on it.

  • @Winlogoff There is no WiFi on board however Internet access is possible using a dongle that has a data roaming facility.

It's funny, but I literally just stepped off this little gem this morning. It was wonderful (again).

  • You can use your phone to send text messages and other data transfers, but not to make voice calls, so as to stop people being disturbed if they're trying to sleep.

  • you can use ur phone!!!!! awsome

  • The A318 needs to refuel at Shannon because if it took of with a full tank of fuel at LCY. It would overshoot the runway. On the way back to London it does not need to refuel. Apparently, the passengers go through passport and security checks in Shannon to avoid the customs at JFK.

  • Do you have to get off the plane in Shannon, or is it a quick refuelling stop?

  • @JoeMackenzie6197 You get off the plane and clear US custums and migration there, so you arrive at JFK as a domestic flight and avoid the long lines at that airport.

  • this isnt london city airport

    o well good video

    (thats heathrow)

  • nooo its shannon airport in ireland. thats the new a318 making a stop off on its way to JFK from london city

  • @rish134 This video is taken at Shannon Ireland, not LHR, BA flies the westbound service from LCY to JFK via Shannon. Also, BA doens not have any A318's at Heathrow
