I am blown away by his version of this beautiful song. There have been so many who have made their own versions but this one I believe to be the best next to the original.
The Al hibbler version is in 3/4 time all others after is 4/4. It's a waltz of the lonley hearted. So, this not even close to the original, but good singing though.

that is not the original version, the first time this song was recorded was 1955 by Al Hibbler!!!!
The Righteous Brothers did it later!
