The Rocks code is transferable but stone colds is not...I have also been told that the backstage code is transferable and you may be able to unlock them via gameplay.

To make matters worse, when I was physically in the store I asked the employee at the desk about exclusives she didn't know. I'm really praying for my Stone Cold! Well WWE have lost it since 2005 or so in my opinion, but THQ don't normally fuck us around like this.

Indeed, some gameplay footage would be nice. I mean we've seen some at convention showings, but no direct feed gameplay.

yeah they've been showing little gameplay and fucking around with us by doing things like creating super heroes and doing gameplay with them. I mean some hardcore gameplay especially for the handhelds because they haven't even showed any psp or ds gameplay yet and that's what's annoying me. I want to see gameplay so I'll know what the game looks like not just buying a game that I know nothing about.

The PSP version will probably just be a heavily downgraded version of the PS2 version as per usual, but the DS version I agree whole heartedly on.

I usually just download the DS ones though, 08 sucked and while 09 on the DS was OKAY-ish, no way would I have spent money on it.

I know but they're saying that 10 this year's gonna be 10x better because there's an ambulance match,14 backstage arenas, and you don't use the stylus this year, just the buttons. But how are we gonna know how that works out if they won't show any gameplay!?

They removed the stylus? Oh thank god, while it was okay-ish to use in 09 on the DS, a full button layout will be much better, can't wait until the ROM comes out.

I think the best wrestling games were wcw/nwo revenge, wrestlemania 2000, and no mercy for n64...I absolutely hate the gameplay of all the other titles released, the grappling system of the n64 titles in my opinion was much better than any of the later titles released. I suggest that thq goes back with asmik ace/aki for the gameplay mechanics, I think yukes is terrible at gameplay.

To be dead honest with you, I've never played any WWE games that weren't released on the Psone, PS2 or 360 ^^; (and DS if you count the ROMS I downloaded of the last two SD games just to try them out)

Not because I don't want to, I just haven't. The oldest WWE (Or WWF back then) games I've played are War Zone and Attitude and Psone, and I hated them as a kid because of how hard pulling off alot of moves was.

oh man, you gotta play wrestlemania 2000 and no mercy, even if you just get the rom and play it on an emulator. Honestly those games were some of the best fun I had on the n64 playing 4 player with friends was awesome, wcw/nwo revenge also was great as it was the precursor to the wwf games as far as the gameplay mechanics and look, watch out if you go to buy a cart for no mercy though as there was a batch with bad save ram which erases all your data at random intervals.

I've heard that the bad batch just has EUR on the cart where as the fixed carts have EUR-1, that is for the pal version and I'm not sure if that is true but I have a US version with the glitch and I don't know if they chaged the model on the cart when they fixed it.

The DS version of SD vs Raw 2008 was awful, it wasn't even really a wrestling game in terms of gameplay, 09 was okay-ish on DS, hopefully 2010 will be better with the all button set up. (I felt the touch screen controls seemed tacked on even in 09 on the DS. I download them before anyone asks, I don't buy them)

As for the console ones, I loved 07 and onwards because of the new grapple controls

here is a solution to the Rock/Austin dilema. Get a version that comes with Austin. Then ask someone who got the Rock for the code. You can use the code to get the rock as many times as you like while Austin is a 1 time only code

Reptitive isn't the word for it, they use the old and tired method of Cena getting his ass kicked and then firing back at the last minute. That may have worked with Hogan in the 80's, but it doesn't now.

And how many times has Randy Orton vs John Cena been a main event over the last few years? When Rock and Austin were the "top dogs" as it were we saw both superstars in a wide variety of matches and with a variety of opponents.

i actually dont think cena is the probem (not the only one anyway). it's just the matches and promos are never different. it's all so predictable. the falls count anywhere matches never leave the ring, the cage matches usually end in a pinfall, hell in a cell is boring, ladder matches are pathetic. and we dont see the "attitude" of the 90's anymore.

dx are past it (as a team) and the undertaker does the same shit every time he appears (which is rare).
