@alanhobbes1 It sounds a lot better in person, haha. This camera didn't do very well with audio so it was often distorted. I also had the horn duct taped a bit so that it wouldn't be so loud, so I'd say it was tolerable.
I have a question! I just recieved my RSS-2475 in the mail, but don't know a thing about how to wire it to the pull station, or where to get the power.......... PLEASE HELP!
@Trainmaster1212 Alright, I'll come clean. I know this is a necro-bump but I borrowed that click sound from this video. I needed a pull station sound and I didn't think Dan would mind. I do apologize for my lack of credit. In my new intro though I did remove the sound.
whoa, all my classes have those on the wall, minus the strobe, but get this, they have 2 Simplex 40xx horns, one of them is a 4040 and I belive the other is a 4050, plus some horn that looked like a bell, infact it was right next one.
if that system was not yours you shud not tuch it! let the people who know how to work the alarm turn it off and i am not trying to be meen it is gust to let you know.
The guy who had the key for the panel didn't know how to shut it off though, and trust me, when you have been listening to an 80db horn/strobe for over 15 minutes, you'll want to shut it of your self!
Yeah. But then again, there is no "correect" way to reset it - so long as it doesn't re-alarm after resetting the system, it's fine - whether or not you silenced it beforehand.
My school has these fire alarms that have 2 big horns on the top part of it, and a red flashing light below the horns. Anyone know this model?

@davidcisneros8 my aunt yelled at me for putting fire alarm videos on while she is outside my room watching tv.
SpecializedChild462 7 months ago
Well, jjinc24, you have to reset the pull first, cause if you reset the system with the pull still activated, it will go back in alarm.
mullethead201 2 years ago
The click from the pull as you pull it sounds EXACTLY like the pull click in NewAgeServerAlarm's video opener.
Trainmaster1212 3 years ago 3
That's because it's the same kind.
weatherdan882002 3 years ago
Ah, I see.
Trainmaster1212 3 years ago
He used the audio clip. But at the end, the pull reset sound is different lol.

Why did you reset the pull first?
jjinc24 3 years ago
IDK. So long as you reset the pull before resetting the alarm system, it doesn't matter.

Why do you glide your fingers over the handle before pulling it down? Is it to position it to get a firm grip?
travelplus1 4 years ago
it take extremely little force to pull these alarms and it just happens with alarm collectors. It's kind of natural.

Wow, that is loud over one my speakers. I can't imagine what it would sound like in your room or if you had a drill while sleeping.

what do you mean a drill while sleeping? Wouldn't he have to sound it himself?

is tghis a english fire alarm panel and how many zones can it have? and how many initiating devicesd and notification appliances can it have?
christopher785 5 years ago
No this is an american fire panel. It is made by Simplex Grinnell, and I think it has four zones.
SystemSensor224 3 years ago
I work for SimplexGrinnell. You ought to apply with us. We've got way cooler toys now.
