Could I avoid fuzzing(overdriving) signal? I'd like to get pitch like with bass guitar, but i'd like to still be on clean.

fuzz onll its always dirty the only thing u can do is lower the overall volume of the fuzz but this pedal does not clean up AT ALL. I would recommend the Electro Harmonix Octave Multiplexer pedal for clean octave down action.
