It's really obvious in the first episode when Raja attends his first class in an American high school.

I know, first I didn't like the idea of this show but saw the preview of it and it looked funny and kind of showing people how to understand Middle-Eastern people and Muslims. Now, this message doesn't really change, but why not get A real Muslim and Middle-Eastern for the role if the whole thing is about accepting people of that background.
