I sorta feel bad for proto, mostly because he had to kill his own brother. And when you meet him in megaman 3, its sad that you find out your own brother is still alive, let alone kniwong you have one.  Proto is probably the only megaman character to maybe be better than megaman himself. You get em, Proto!

this song reflects on protoman's (sad) past. i mean, he is a prototype, and he was given a time limit to live before his power core destroyed him from the inside. he was about to blow up when wily found him, without some arms and legs. and when he was revived, he was meant to kill his brother (megaman)

this song is full of misteries........why is protoman like that, what is the story behind the brother of megaman??? why isn´t him with dr. light and megaman??? dr light and wily worked togeter to makes the original specs for robots like megman, when the prototype was complete wily argued with light and took the prototype later named protoman. he soon disagreed with wily and left to be on his own

Well, in the series, Proto Man is openly on Dr. Wily's side. In this particular episode, he claims to have defected and want to join Mega Man. Mega Man is hopeful that maybe now he'll have a real brother, but it turns out that Proto Man's change of heart was an act; it was just part of Dr. Wily's latest scheme.
