I think it might be some 3d mia and after effects mixed in. with some synchronized sound programs. they probably animated it in 3d with Max after they modeled the stuff in mia then they tweaked it in after effects. and mixed in some original video recording with sound editor. I am A animation student right now so I know all about this stuff. its pretty easy to animate the the water effect stuff in animation. but they did a great job with the lighting and sound. A plus plus in my opinion.
