  • Amazing how loud the landing gear are. Well until ya realize how humongous those things are. Garage sized doors opening up, house sized wheels locking into position... Sounds like there's a warning ping even.

  • l'avion roule trop vite

  • Way to loud that bang...

  • Singapore the best airline, Hong Kong airport the majestic scenery water mountain and all so scenic!

  • @MisterSunson no i think qatar is

  • @MisterSunson no i think qatar is

  • love the sound of those hydraulics : D

  • WOW, that is soooo loud from the landing gear being deployed

  • boeing dont make that lound sound its scarry man

  • vido 5 same sound wow they need to fix that i think its hitting ti hard it will break some thing

  • i had flown in a A380 before in Singapore Airlines and the new krisworld is great.....hope they install outside cameras as well under the plane like the b777-300er but their landing gear is louder compared to others

  • what strong touch ! 7:00

  • Amazing video ! Please, take a look at my A380 videos and subscribe-me !!

  • For a landing in HKG u got a clear sky. Normally its smogged up

  • haha what a cool sound by using the flaps!

  • Great video! I can't wait to fly on the A380! Now I'm just waiting for someone to post a vid from their 787 flight :D

  • I'm pretty sure this is an A320.

  • @lmGayAndHaveAIDS that wing is to big to be an a320

  • @yoDog421 It's an airbus 380, stupid

  • @TheMikestation11 look i made a mistake i read the title wrong okay? I am not stupid

  • @TheMikestation11 well i did not read the title wrong is that a youtube user ImGayAndHaveAIDS said it was an a320 and i replied to him that the wing was to big to be an a320. Watch what u say okay?

  • cute plane. I think they need to build a bigger plane though, maybe twice the size of the a380

  • Nice video man, really nice! The landing was kind of fun, sounds like the wheels are exploding :D

    Good job!

  • it's true. the a380 may not be as sleek as a 747, but the flaps are supreme! :D

  • did you here the kid at 4:34?

  • @yoDog421 yes what was the bang?

  • @snuggles03 i have no idea

  • Excellent video. Love the mechanics of the A380's wings. Thanks for filming them. And yes they are quite loud.

  • Wow great video and nice landing. Love the ''bang'' sound of the gear, must have been a great feeling I guess.

  • Yeah everything seems louder on an A380 as it's so quiet, but the gear is unusually loud, could be becuase there are just more of them!

  • great stuff !

  • Hard, Hard btw nice video

  • landing exploded my headphones, nice job!

  • OMG I wish girls could be as sexy as an Airbus 380! ;D

  • @decowalkark you have bad taste man, seriously. stop dissing the A380 already, lol.

  • @faostube wow you're "special" lol

  • @decowalkark But major men couldn´t afford them as well as major airlines can´t afford A380 :-D

  • The landing is not good as my imagine

  • love the flaps sound !!

  • 5 star video, thanks !

  • Great video mate, what was the seat no.? Cheers! In regards to the lound noise, I think he might have been a little too fast for the gear to be extended, that's what caused the loud bang.

  • @EK433B77W Thank you! This was filmed from seat 50A.

  • @greatflyer96 so i guess that is the upper deck

  • @EK433B77W unlikely. Pilots wouldn't lower the gear at a faster speed than what VLE for fear it would damage the aircraft. If they were going too fast to make a safe landing they'd go around.

Gear extension always makes a sound.

  • @Edwiness

Circumstances such as this, where the gear is deployed too fast could be a result of what’s known as a ‘hot’ approach, where the flight crew have not fully judged their approach accordingly resulting in the aircraft either being too fast or too high on the glide slope. Therefore, the gear is deployed out of the VLE and VLO to increase drag, resulting in the aircrafts deceleration.

    Or... See next comment.

  • @Edwiness

Situations such as a requirement for a high speed approach from Air Traffic Control e.g.. 185kts to 5DME, therefore the crew would select the gear at a speed that is just outside the VLE, again where it is determined safe and/or necessary. The gear could be selected at normal position but that would result in more power needed + fuel because of the increase in drag from the extension of the gear.

  • @EK433B77W Sorry but I don't believe any flight crew would ever deliberately go out of the safety envelope outside of an emergency. Maybe if you showed me evidence of you piloting a380s then I might just believe it. Just.

  • @EK433B77W That's perfectly normal.... that's the gear locking into place [tilting bogies].

  • Great video mate, what was the seat no.? Cheers!

  • I wonder how the A380 pilots would fare if they had to land that plane at HongKong's infamous Kai-Tak airport with strong unpredictable crosswinds. I think they'd shit they're pants on the descent.

  • What is the noisi sound between 4:09 and 5:20? Is it the engine giving thrust? and whats the "boom" in 4:34?

  • @SingaporeAirflyer It's all the extension of the landing gears. The very loud " boom" at 4:34 was produced when the landing gears were locked into position.

  • @greatflyer96 Ahh that explains everything. Good video man ;)

  • @SingaporeAirflyer Thank you! ;)

  • @greatflyer96 NO...it is when the plane is coming out of Super Sonic Speed!!! LOL...

OR..it could be there is unstable air...it could of been that......

ALL Airbuses have loud hydraulics...A319, 320, 330, 340, 380...On a A330 same loud extension of flaps, and on a A320..it sounded like when we had landed...while i saw the flaps extend back....passengers said they could hear dogs in the cargo bay!!! Barking and whimpering.......LOL. It is those loud hydraulics of Airbuses.

  • @UFOSPACE1999 The Barking sound you hear on a A320 family aircraft is the PTU for the hydaulic system,a power transfer unit, that transfers power from for example from the right hand system,to the left hand system,when/if the left hans system goes under a certain PSI... nothing more than that.. it is common to hear the PTU transfering power during all stages of a flight.. it have even been heard during cruise :D

  • @greatflyer96 It is confortable to fly in a A380?

  • @FlightSimXflyer Yes, it is very quiet, especially in the upper deck.

  • @transfer8 Thank you! ;)

  • by the extension of landing gears do you mean the sound @ 3:18 or the "BOOM" @ 4:34? lol

  • @superzzza The one at 4:34.

  • very nice

  • the sounds for the flaps are amazing!!
