Why is the federal government blocking efforts to contain and block oil coming on shore in the gulf? Police, teachers, fire fighters are state government. this guy is lying. The historical reason for separation of church and state is this: In Europe, non-catholics were persecuted by the state. When England went protestant, catholics were persecuted there. So the founding fathers decided people should not have to follow a state run church, or any church if they choose. They did not, however, anticipate the vicious attack against symbols of faith on public property. Like most Europeans immigrants, they were very christian indeed.

Anyway, the Arizona Law is wrong for 3 mistakes : States can"t do Federal laws, 2.- the POLICE can"t do tasks of ICE Agents and 3.- When there is a federal law about Immigration, , States can"t do a similar law as the Federal Law.
