in some cases, a bit of a bad idea. xD

this bird is already acustomed to life with humans, and has (I think O_o) learned to love them.

Dropping this fella off in a jungle all the sudden would kill him from the Stress/shock of being in a totally new enviroment with no comfort zone.

D: he also relies on his owner for food, he has no idea what trees produce safe foods for him DX

but theres a group in the US that breeds african greys and such for a ready release into the wild. :>

Yeah they need at least 4 hours (AT LEAST) personal interaction a day, they wake up at sunrise most of the time and start making noise. They can make a huge mess and can be pretty demanding. You also have to be careful what you say to them because they are like little sponges. Anything you say they can pick up. Drop the F word once and they could be cussing up a storm every other word. :P They are cool birds but if you dont have the time or experience then Id say maybe consider something else.:)
