  • @xlr8r2010 I appreciate that these amps have had some bad press and my first 333XL was actually faulty...However, since Bugera replaced it, it has been solid! I have toured it and had no issues what so ever. I have also in the past had a faulty Marshall JVM 410H and several faulty Fender amps! So, it isn't just a Bugera that can go bang!

My last amp was a JVM 410H (replacement of the faulty one) and I was never happy with the sound I got. My 333XL sounds bleeding great! I can't get enough of it!

  • Seriously though...Bugera amps have a VERY HIGH failure rate.My friend bought a Bugera (against my advice) exactly 33 days later..it died on him.He now has a Marshall JVM 50 watt head and it sounds amazing.

  • I wouldn't buy a Chinese made amplifier....even if I was a Chinese person living in China! ;)

  • please i need your help, how i can do it??

  • @mazklassa1 Don't mind at all pal! I got mine from DV247 :-)

Can't get the words to say how much I love this amp btw!! It's awesome!!

  • @davekerr81 The very 333XL you see in this video was bought from DV247 (Digital Village) too. They have great customer service and a 4 year warranty on anything they sell!

  • @richardw1992 thats awesome fella!!Good to hear its sorted. I'm just about to road test mine for the first time on tour so...really needs to hold out for me lol.

    Have fun mate

  • @davekerr81 If you are taking a Bugera on any kind of tour, good luck to you...search Google for "Bugera failure Rate" more than half of them die within a few months,no bullshit.

  • @richardw1992 Awesome mate! Fingers crossed it'll be fine. Keep us posted!

  • @davekerr81 I took the chassis out and had a quick poke around inside (not literally) and to my eyes there appear to be two or 3 new (shinier) transistors or voltage regulators, and they all have large heatsinks on them with thermal paste connecting them to the board. Im sure this was never there before, so I'm confident they have isolated and fixed the problem, hopefully ironing out the last remaining problem with these heads! I have all faith in it now!

  • @davekerr81 Can I ask where within the UK you purchased your Bugera head if you don't mind me asking? Thanks

  • thants what they did to mine shipped it back claiming no faults , and it was still broken so i had it repaired locally twice no one could figure out what it was although the last guy biased it and it did get some better! good luck buy a black star not much more money well worth it!

  • @richardw1992 The service centre tried to sort it both times but, could never find that particular fault. I've actually had a replacement now...so far, so good! All working and sounds awesome! :-) Hope yours is fine mate!

  • @davekerr81 Just got it back yesterday and had it up and running, sounding sweet as ever and so far the fault hasn't popped up! However im in Uni accommodation so I havent been able to get it into volume levels where significant heat is generated.. But a piece of paper was in the box saying "Your Behringer equipment has been repaired and extensively tested to see if any further faults were present, this was at no charge to you as it was under warranty"

  • HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MINE HAD IT REPAIRED 3 TIMES IT WAS JUNK MAN NEVER GOT IT TO WORK IT WAS UNPREDICTABLE AND UNUSEABLE LIVE SO I GOT RID OF IT AND GOT A BLACKSTAR MONEY WELL SPENT DONT BUY BUGERA!

  • @BLACKLABELSC Did they never actually repair it then? I will be very angry if they don't honour their warranty and just ship it back claiming they couldn't trace any fault!

  • hey man can you help me? i'll need to repair it please help me, where you got support for repair it, can you say me???

  • @mariovernand Hello, Its not the tubes which need changing, although they can cause reliability options if you get a bad set these have already been changed and are all fine.

As other people seem to know more about the fault than me it appears its an overheating regulator that controls the channel switching. Possibly due to my batch of amps having an inferior component..

Get in touch with the store you bought the Amp from to return it, or if not contact "bugera" on youtube.

  • are you changed the bugera tubes ??? i got the same problem exactly... may be have to make a tubes replace... sorry for my english hahahaha!!!

  • Hey man!! I had the same problem!! Only difference is that I didn't need to turn on FX loop for it to happen. With or without the footswitch even plugged in mine was doing this. Had it in for repair twice and still couldn't be sorted. Very strange...even more so frustrating. Fortunately, the guys at Bugera are sorting me with a replacement....just hope it works all fine and well cos I actually really love the sound on this thing! Hope you get sorted too fella!

  • @davekerr81 So the two times you sent it back they did nothing? I've just received mine back, (took about 2 months) I will get to play it for the first time tomorrow. However if it goes wrong again I'm worried it will be outside the warranty, did Bugera hook you up with a new head even outside of your warranty? I love the amp too, sounds lovely!

  • How long have you had the amp? I thought they fixed all these issues in the new ones? I sure hope they did lol I JUST ordered mine this morning... :\

  • @feet2oofast I've had the amp for about 2 years, and luckily due to the store I bought it from it has a 4 year warranty so I have recently sent it back with this video attached as evidence. Hopefully when I get it back the problem will be sorted!

  • You got a faulty regulator,My V55HD did something similar.

Some units, had the regulator installed without the proper heatsink, and some did.

The 1s without often did this.

  • Hi Richard! This doesn't look right...I'm going to send you a DM.

  • @bugera Looks to me like faulty switching regulator that over heating.

    My V55HD had same problem!
