First of all, there are a TON of ballplayers that don't like to do inscriptions. Secondly I have stood in line to get Tony's autograph, and he was doing a 3 hour session, but he started 30 minutes early and stayed an hour late to sign for the fans. Also, the fans did not pay for this session. Of the guys that have signed autographs for me, he was one of the nicest.
with that response from gwynn I would of asked for my money back right in front of his fat face...just sign the damn thing...your getting paid for it! .

Understand that I paid a premium for the unused ticket from his last game and kept it for years hoping for this opportunity. I also paid in excess of $100 for the autograph and inscription. Considering the amount of money I had tied up in this little endeavor, I was extremely upset that he wouldn't sign the ticket with the inscription I paid for.
Tony Gwynn's one of the nicest guys that you'll EVER meet in baseball. He's done tons of community service in San Diego and is very approachable. He is extremely busy since everyone wants a piece of him so this video is not a good representation of Mr. Padre.

Tell me this shit heads...if he is all about him self then why in the hell did a life time 300 hitter spend his entire career with one team and take pay cut after pay cut to be with a team that finished last place in the west year after year???

I meet Ladainian Tomlinson and got his autograph and he was WAY nicer and talked to me and shook my hand even took a pic with me.
He was nice player he was a big guy but he don't look the way he should talk, like Tiger Woods, Ken Giffery Jr, and Ray Romano.These are all guys that don't look the way they should talk and voice are annoying as hell. You expect his voice to be all deep because hes a big guy but it's not. He sounds all nasally. Don't get me wrong he a good base ball player. I not hating on him.

heck yeah, I watch more than just the breaks, haha...especially vids like this because I have worked w/ so many professional athletes and know how different they can be from one another so its cool to see how some I've never met are when the cam is rolling...Gwynn is a clown.
Tony is a crazy guy that's for sure. He seems like one of those dudes who has tons of stories to tell but simply dodges around them. I wonder how it is playing for him at San Diego State?

Yes he did eventually sign the ticket as shown in the video with the inscription I asked for but it was extremely awkward trying to get him to do so.
