It's not exactly true that the factory can not tell you used a tuner. There is a read only portion of the memory and if you ever have a major warranty issue and the factory thinks it may be caused by using 3rd party software it will be sent in and checked.

i dont see any vids of any basically stock except for (this) programmer trucks getting on it,guess ill have to get one and post some,i like the REAL world,not the $20,000.00 engine work dyno vids...

you just uninstall the programmer and then the dealerships can't trace it.

5 stage junk) on his 01' dodge 5spd mine is an 06' with auto,can i use this unit on both if he uninstalls the edge he also has a turbo and injectors upgrade,sry for the 20questions and all, thanks....

If you purchased one it would work on the 03-07 dodge's, and it can only be on one truck at a time.

Will this 'unlock' the tuner so that it can be transferred to another vehicle(of course the vehicle would have to be the same make and model).

04 dodge cummins and the smartbox c3.2 i think it should just slide off but it wont budge. are there tabs?

in addition to our previous comment, depending on the model of your c3.2 you might have to undo a 10mm bolt and then it should slide right off. They plug right on to the computer. it is on the front side right in the middle of the connector.

power wise they are very comparable, a hand held versus something that will shift power on the fly are pretty different. It depends on what you are looking for.

Can a stock 06 cummins tranny handle al the extra hp. and trq. than the predaor gives? I really want one of those diablosport predators or if my tranny can't handle it, I'll get the powerpuck.

It will, we usually just run ours on the 100hp setting.

Does that tuner work on a 04 ford 6.0 diesel econoline van? I have a 4' exh and drop in k&n.

It is a different part number, but yes, it will work on your vehicle just fine.

kinda off topic but are you familiar with the van aken smartbox? im trying to uninstall mine but it wont budge. i need to physically pull the loom off but it wont budge. do i just pry it off or will i wreck something?

c3.2 for a 2004 early half it seems like the loom should just slide off but the damn thing just wont budge at all. does it have tabs of some sort? i dont know but once i take it off i'm gonna get a different chip altogether i think

there are usually tabs that you can use a small screwdriver or o-ring pick or something to lift up and then slide it off like you can see in our TDI smartbox install video, of course that is assuming the tabs havent broken or anything.
