  • 10/30 mags? or full 30?

  • @nicknuke7 10/30's. I originally bought 10 rounders but as I started to use mag pouches I realized that won't work because those pouches are made for full size mags.

  • what mount do you have that magnifier on

  • @TheMontgomery519 It's a mount that comes with it. Google Vortex 3x magnifier and if you find one that's about 300 bucks, that's got the mount with it. Gotta say though, I'd rather have one that flips to the right, horozontally, rather than rotating like this one. It interferes with my rear BUIS, which is why I have it so far forward. I either have to shorten the stock, or move my face a lot closer to the front of the gun to get a good view through it.

  • all these armchair commandos have some nice shit.

  • @Glockcrazy19 Shooting is a hobby of mine, and I compete with my gear. Works well for me.

  • where..... have..... you..... been?!?!?

  • @dogblast I got banned from Calguns. Kes is a big baby head. I'm still on the CG facebook page though a lot, and I shoot with a lot of calgunners. Check out some new vids, got a sweet new 8mm mauser sniper rifle put together.

  • That's a gorgeous rifle. It looks like you have a mid-length gas system; but I could be mistaken.

  • @oldannyboy37 Wish I did. It's a carbine length, but a middy would have fit under my handguards. Oh well, next upper....

  • @markmatich Awww, well either way it's a nice rifle. If I do an AR build I'm going with the middy; I like how they look.

  • @oldannyboy37 I wouldn't worry about looks as much as function. The reason people tend to like them better than carbine length tubes is that it makes the recoil impulse while firing much less harsh. Other than that, not a whole lot of benefit. And remember, you can always cover any length with the right rail system...

  • @markmatich Same here, but they're normally about the same price as the carbine lengths so it doesn't hurt lol. That and as impractical as it sounds I like the fact that it's still relatively easy to mount a bayonet on them........I'd probably never use the thing but it's kind of a cool novelty.

  • @oldannyboy37 Never know when or if you'll ever need em. I hope I never ever have to use any of my weapons to take another life. I'm an anti-war activist and a vegetarian for the last 13 years. But I'm also one of those people who likes to do things on my own. I do all the work on my cars, shit like that. And I think self defense is a right and responsibility of all citizens. If we have any riots or an earthquake or something like that, I'll do OK I think. any life lost is tragedy.

  • @markmatich I'm about like you minus the vegetarian part lol.
