These pedals dont do so well with single coil guitars. Too bright. You need some nice humbuckers for a fat sound. Also a nice MXR micro chorus pedal.

is this pedal good for playing metal????
supertrunks700 2 years ago
i'm not really sure since i'm not a metal player. but my guess is no because it's not thick enough for a metal sound. maybe you could use it as a boost for more sustain, but not by itself as the main distortion.

Can be used for metal if you have high output humbuckers (my bridge has 16K DC resistance).

pivkon is correct, it changes the wah to a more dramatic sound, read it in the cry baby booklet.

I think it is better to connect distortion first than wah...
pivkon 3 years ago
why?
well like distortion first from amp then wah then guitar or backwards?
Emas20 3 years ago
If you have distortion from amp it's ok. But if you have pedal(distortion)it's better: guitar then wah then dist then amp...
sorry first dist then wah
oh cool nice to know
i have both those pedals. cool

it's a Fender Princeton Chorus solid state.
Oh, I thought it was tube, it's got a pretty good tone for solid state.
i wish it was tube, but i can get a good tone out of it when i work with it.
That's cool.
