Nice run sadlymissing. My problem with a lot of guys think that they can get all the best gear and be a war hero, but these real world-ish things show that conditioning is 90% of the game. If you are a fat turd with all the best tac-vests, 5.11 pants, expensive guns, acogs, nvgs, and whatever else you have, you are still a fat turd. If you can't run 3 miles without walking, you need to put your gear away and buy shoes. Nutn... start preaching fitness a little more man! It really is paramount.
As to silvermediastudios your a hating dumbass If you can't see if he is using his knee for support then shut the fuck up, it's windy out you don't know if it's that or his breathing, Nutn already mentioned he was clenching his breath, lastly it's a run and gun your body is not reacting the way it would in a nice friendly bench at the local range or base... How bout you critique troops in Iraq and afghan on marksmanship in stressful times, see where it gets
Although I'm a couple years shy of 21, I'm very much interested in picking up a LWRC carbine when I come of age. I also plan on setting it up similar to sadly's gun too, with the afg, magpul buis, vari-power scope, and muzzle brake. Very useful and informative vid. Keep the great vids coming!
Sadlymissing-his-rifle might be an even better handle; can't wait for a tactical shooting course with a guy who can't even keep his "highly modded rig" including rifle sling intact for more than 90 seconds.
And what kind of position is that at 6:18? Not using the AFG properly, support arm elbow should be resting on a knee for stability (can't see if it is), and I can hear him inhaling while breaking several of the shots throughout. Basic marksmanship?
@silvermediastudio Then at 7:50 shooting 200yd he's breathing heavy and wraps the towel haha. You can see his trigger finger jumping off the trigger after each shot, no follow-through, 8:29 is the worst. Get real with this garbage.
@spetsnazkommando I don't know, they're both very similar and both very well made. LWRC offers a much wider variety of barrel lengths than Barrett does. You can get barrel lengths of 10.5, 12.7, 14.7, 16.0, on the M6A2. I think an 18" barrel is available on the M6A3 and there is always the PSD if you need something very compact. NFA rules apply, of course.
@albi131 I think that is the MRE color which I have on my M6A2. They stopped the MRE in favor of FDE and OD green options. Something about the MRE being too hard to produce on a consistent basis. My upper and lower are slightly different shades but the gun is still a beast.
@Kylef7735 no i guess he doesnt NEED a point. but usually when people spend a lot of time on something there is a reason behind it. i was wondering what that reason was. what is the point of this run n gun training?
@samabbott2 The point is target shooting under realistic conditions (compared to a shooting range). His courses simulate real life conditions when shooting, such as adrenalin, out of breath, heart rate increase, fatigue, overall combat stress. No way you get anything close to this in a Range. Why do this? 1 i presume it is a blast of fun shooting guns hanging out with friends, but also testing equipment doesnt mean walking around your house wearing it. He wants to truely test the equipment...
@nathanp2007 ...by using it under stress, when under stress maybe you notice something about the equipment that is flawed. Also IMO it seems he is not just target shooting but in the back of his head thinks what if theres a WRL situation, and to be truly prepared you have to train under stress. Training in a Range has close to no real world application, whether its a intruder in your house or taliban in Afghanistan.
@nathanp2007 yeah i know what this training is intended to do. i should have phrased my question differently. what i want to know is who he thinks hes going to be utilizing fire team size run n gun tactics on. even in a WROL situation you wont be running around engaging targets. it would be largely defensive and lets face it. in WROL there is no casvac, no hospital, no one to protect your family if you bite the dust. so i dont think running around getting into deep shit like this is a good idea
@samabbott2 I do agree with that, essentially his courses are middle east combat like soldiers are facing in iraq/Afghanistan when not in cities. I think that does limit the application of what is learned, but the basics/fundamentals apply across the board. Reloading under pressure, shooting under stress etc. I dont think you could make a WROL scenario without a ton of money and building a fake town lol.
@samabbott2 He does it for his old military job, and he does the training to get results on the setups and weapons he uses! Well there is also WROL reasons.
@samabbott2 it's a good way to integrate exercise into your shooting, as well as getting the heart rate up like it would be when shooting under duress. It's a lot harder to shoot when you're breathing hard and your heart rate is elevated, so it's good to practice shooting in that state.
I can't begin to explain how happy I am with my M6A3; it was and is worth every single penny. I've convinced several friends (including a few with local law enforcement) to buy these, and they're all extremely happy. Yeah, they're expensive, but what's your life worth to you? The quality is above and beyond every other AR15/M4 type rifle I've ever owned. Save up your pennies or put one of these on layaway, but make sure you get your hands on one. You will not be sorry!
@djekdlejae Yup, I handled one of these for the first time in my local gun shop and it was one of those deals where you could just tell right away like WOW, this is the way it's supposed to feel. I must have one, I'll own one one day, gotta save up. :)

What's the point in having BIS if your optics block your ability to use them? And why not run the course in a plate carrier as well? The CDI factor doesn't matter much if you're dead.
Hand this or any other gun to a Mw2 fag and watch as they proceed to muzzle sweep you, your car, and your family, try to shoot while jumping up and down, fall flat on their ass from attempting to fire in a dead sprint with ZERO firearms experience, and then be unable to figure out how to eject the magazine, clear jams, or even load the magazine in the first place, all while they scream "DA X BUTTON ISN'T WORKING!!!"

@entstephen haha, it isnt making it harder, you obviously have no expierence running and gunning. And you arent going to keep your mouth shut while in a firefight with hostiles, which this is trying to replicate.
@Kylef7735 ohh really, no experience., im ex army corporal with 5 yrs active duty and a veteran of both oif and oef., and i could see if he was doin a "stress" shoot where he would be yellin at him n screaming in his ear or using other deversions, but hes jus like correcting him like fire slower , go for points., n shit like that ., so like i said, hes correcting him while shootin., dude, im right n ur wrong , but its cool though , i wasnt talkin to u ,
@entstephen Well by posting on here were everyone can see, you were talking to everyone. With the sledgehammer, its for max accuracy, so slowing down is good.
@Kylef7735 i can agree with that ., but thats sumthin u would discuss during the range briefing., not while running the course., or somethin u could bring up in the aar., and actually, :the sledge hammer" doesnt look like all that demanding of a course., 200 yd max range n theyre like debating the ability to hit with an ar at 200 yds., the only guy that seems to get the program is the guy in the black sayin how its no problem n he can shoot standing., i would have to agree
@Kylef7735 hah i can hit a 8 inch plate at 200 yds easily after runnin 100yds (only a 4 moa shot) with my armalite m15 with dd m4a1 ris2 bcm upper., granted, alittle harder with an ak, but that guy was usin a lwrc 16 inch , shoulda been no prob
@labartic Its just to prevent people finding out real names for security issues. And if you've gotta have a different name might as well make it funny instead of just "John"
I think LWRC ARs are great weapons, but I prefer the H&K MR556 & the POF ARs. I've never seen any NUTNFANCY videos on the PTR91F or the PTR32. I'd think he would really dig the PTR91F being a tall fella (6' 3").
@GlockRtf All three are the top of their game. All three are in use by operators around the world who count on them on a day to day basis, obviously Colt is the biggest manufacturer of AR systems, but if it were me it'd be a tie and just get whatever you can find for less. Colt's midrange rifles won't compare to the average M6 from LWRC though, you have to go up to tactical model. Most of the things you'd want to do to an AR is on an LWRC already though.
Active Duty Coast Guard – Age 27. Note: up to age 32 for those selected to attend A-school directly upon enlistment (this is mostly for prior service).
Coast Guard Reserves – Age 39. ---------"the blind cannot lead the blind"
Yup, these are max enlistment ages, but the experience comes from those that have the military experience. There is a reason the older guys are doing the teaching...accomplishment in prior service, pure experience.
@southlandasss your comment though your opinion is unfounded.. these guys are out having a great time and making lasting friendships doing a hobbie they all love. Yeah total assholes....
Just saying if you went and tried to hang out with them even though you have the latest up to date weapons, they would give a bunch of shit about: ie, your camo is wrong, you can't sight a weapon while I run my mouth, Greta target adjustment while I run my mouth..................... I shot on a weekly basis and could outgun these bitches in a heart beat!
I have a Magpul MS2 sling. The locking alligator clip is a bad piece of equipment. The roller lock is hard to unlock and as you can see if you forget to lock it the clip will fail and dump your rifle. I replaced my clip with an H&K clip and now it works great!
Nutn, you really like that song at 05:49+ (which by the way reminds me of sweet home alabama), do ya? I think i heard it several times now in your last vids. Sounds like the Sledgehammer theme to me :D Keep up the good work bro!
At a press conference in Washington, D.C., WikiLeaks accused U.S. soldiers of killing 25 civilians, including two Reuters journalists, during a July 12, 2007, attack in New Baghdad. The Web site titled the video "Collateral Murder," and said the killings represented "another day at the office" for the U.S. Army.
rifle looks nice. ive watched a few of these and have to say in combat you dont wanna take soo much time between shots. dont worry so much about head/torso, hits are hits and will stop the threat from engaging you.
SadlyMissing impresses me most with his 100% consistent muzzle and trigger discipline. That's the mark of a shooter with his head in the right place, IMHO.
Other than the mis-title this was an applicable test. Wish the participants could actually represent the guns quality.

@GlockRtf You're kidding right?
LordChrisHimself 1 year ago
@LordChrisHimself nah man im serious i dont know much bout ars i just want the best colt knights armament or lwrc witch one is the best?
GlockRtf 1 year ago
@GlockRtf All three are the top of their game. All three are in use by operators around the world who count on them on a day to day basis, obviously Colt is the biggest manufacturer of AR systems, but if it were me it'd be a tie and just get whatever you can find for less. Colt's midrange rifles won't compare to the average M6 from LWRC though, you have to go up to tactical model. Most of the things you'd want to do to an AR is on an LWRC already though.

I myself plan on getting a LWRC M6a2 but in the 6.8SPC catridge.

jjtmmmm 1 year ago
@jjtmmmm
Yup, these are max enlistment ages, but the experience comes from those that have the military experience. There is a reason the older guys are doing the teaching...accomplishment in prior service, pure experience.

1. You are only 25 according to your profile so there is a Lie there one way or another.
2. You have no uploads showing your awesome shooting skills, please post one so we can learn from your greatness.
3. You are a Professional YouTube Troll. you commented on five videos today in the matter of five minutes and every comment was racist or derogatory.
Please go sling your filth elsewhere we are not impressed.

I have a Magpul MS2 sling. The locking alligator clip is a bad piece of equipment. The roller lock is hard to unlock and as you can see if you forget to lock it the clip will fail and dump your rifle. I replaced my clip with an H&K clip and now it works great!

Nutn do you see this video befor?
Youtube search: "Leaked Iraq Shooting Video".....
