@0DwightMcCarthy0 It's through Max/MSP. Yesterday I found that someone called Ryan Snook tried to replicate it and I tried it out. Absolutely amazing. Someone posted the code at thegearpage (dot) net/archive/index (dot) php/t-233087 (dot) html. Paste the code into max and you're good to go.

I modified it the tiniest bit (rerouting I/Os) to get it working with Ableton, and "my version" (I take zero credit) is on dropbox. PM me for the link because putting links in youtube comments is annoying.

You know what it is is that Jonny's solos never are too intricate or clear cut, it always just sounds fun to play. You know?

Paranoid Android is about as involved as his solos get (musically at least,) but you can tell in this case he really loved the effect (he made? Max/MSP?) and how it sounded and it was straight up fun to use...I don't know. To me Jonny was always about expression rather than "Look how fast these three notes are being PLAYED."
