  • @UrbanLeopard13 Earth in the Solar system located at the end (outer spiral) of the Milky Way-on the second sleeve..We have long way to go to the centre of the spiral where the oldest stars are believed to be..

  • is that ganymede or callisto????

  • @willrelio2609 - do you mean the little dot below Jupiter? Is so that is Io.

  • telescope must be very expensive

  • /watch?v=WUmoAY82m0w

  • What kind of eye relief does your 30mm EP have? I have a cheap 6" scope with a 2x barlow that I want to try this with when I get a clear night that isn't 5 degrees out heh. My EP has a 22mm eye relief so my camera gets some vignetting but it's still pretty cool. Nice job tracking, I need a new tripod BAD!

  • @brown55061 - that EP has 15mm ER.

  • i have telescope and i hae not yet seenthe moon but im going to!

  • if u look at jupiter really closly u can c it spinning!

  • very cool i have some jupiter its a great sight

  • @todd8137 - I have never seen Jupiter with good seeing yet. I wish the weather would smarten up here soon.

  • wow this is awesome. thanks for posting

  • Somone get the moon some clearasil.

  • Are those ''stars'' next to jupiter, jupiters own moons?

  • @TriMrRasmus - they are moons.

  • @TriMrRasmus are you retarded? There is only one star in our soloar system and that's our sun. The closest star to us can't even be measured in miles. It's about 100 light years away. That is billions and trillions of times further than any of our planets put together. Learn your facts.

  • @UrbanLeopard13 - the closest star to our solar system is 4.2 ly away - not 100.

  • @redshift40 Can you please explain to me exactly where our Earth is located in our galaxy?

Please? I want to know our place in the "Milky way". Thanks.

  • @UrbanLeopard13 -watch?v=0Eg_VKgusio at 5:05.

  • @redshift40 Yep serius sorry forgot how to spell it lol.

  • How do you make it so that the image is so steady? When I film Jupiter or the moon the image moves because of the Earth's and other spheres' rotation.

  • @tomasmm I am tracking it by hand. Some of the footage is also slowed down 1/2.

  • Still very cool!!!!!

  • Thanks so much for sharing this good stuff. The guitar lick is beautiful. Real inspiration. I have a 114 mm reflector and 80 mm refractor and so far have only imaged the moon with a cheapie Meade LPI video cam. I love it! Keep up the good work.

  • I wish i had a pound for every crater.

  • Whoever put all the craters on the moon will receive 'sirius' charges. I know, very funny.

  • When looking at the moon,it seems you can tell that your looking through the atmosphere..it looks like heat.

  • Amazing!

  • Really enjoyed this, thankyou for posting it. Makes me want to go out and buy a telescope.

Lots of light pollution where I live, will that effect the use of a telescope ?

  • @H4NDCRAFTED -light pollution is a factor for deep sky objects only. There are filters that will block out this light.

  • @redshift40 I subscribed to your channel, in future i will need somme tips for this hobby, is one of the things I really want to do observe the universe thru a telescope, its fascinating!! the only bad thing is that I'm in England, and the sky is most of the time covered with clouds...

  • @rdevil25 Thanks man. I have the same problem here. It is cloudy 200+ days a year. Google "first time telescope" as everyone has different needs.

  • @H4NDCRAFTED sure it will, but that won't stoping you from having a great experience with your telescope until you get it to a better site.

  • nice i have meed 70mm 700 only have 25mm 9mm eyepiece for know but want to get set. Im in calif and weather changes quickly. missed metor showe it clouded up after sunset. and raining todoay so i missed it again. I just want to live on a moutain top away from city lights. thanks for post feel free to friend me.

  • please upload a new moon video using 9 or 6mm eyepiece while scanning the moon's surface, ill love to see that because mine is only 114mm and when i use 6mm the details is not that good

  • Cool Satriani song lol!

  • How mauch did you pay for the telescope that captured these imagess??

  • Can you see the American flag on the moon ???

  • 2 assholes disliked the video :\

  • beautiful images and excellent choice of music :) thanks for posting

  • inspirational - thanks for posting.

  • good vid!

  • nice vid ;-)

  • How much may I ask? I'm interested in buying one! :))

  • @johncbradley1 -anywhere from $500-$2000+ should get you a good one. If you have the room, get the biggest you can. Only get a brand name scope or custom. Never buy a scope like Tasco or Bushnell.

  • @redshift40 I bought the Celestron Astromaster 130EQ online! I paid £180 for it. I hope it's good :)

  • @johncbradley1 -that is a good beginners scope. I think you will have fun with it. Buy some good eye pieces. Though you may change scopes over time, you will always have the same eye pieces. Get a low, med and high power, and a 2X barlow (this will double your EP's)

  • @redshift40 Thank's for the advise! I will be buying some more lenses

  • @redshift40 The bushnell ares 5 is a great 5in for 150...

  • Great ! Beautiful !!!!!!!!!! ^^

  • you got a nice telescope!

  • dokonaleee

  • you can now ask aliens to follow you on facebook or twitter

  • great!

  • Lovely shots.

  • amazing

  • WOW!!! Amazing footage of both! Awesome work INDEED! Was your Jupiter shot(s) low atmosphere b/c there was a good bit of haze??... The moon shots though for HH that is SICK! NICE!!!!

  • Nádhera...není co dodat.

  • good

  • ever seen ufo with it ?

  • cool,have you got eny NWA 482, i have 50mg of ebay,thanks for vid,

  • Good job mate. Wish you keep up the "flights" with your little 12,5 inch monster :)

    Greetings from Athens, Greece

  • wow, i have telescope too, but i think i have to buy new eyepiece, so that I would see far enough. Then i can see jupiter too? :-) My eyepiece is 25, i think that i buy 40, or something like that..

  • @MultiKakkaKikkare -the lower the number, the higher the magnification. It is best to have a low, med. and high mag. eyepiece.

  • @MultiKakkaKikkare try to use 9 or 6mm eyepiece

  • I definitely need to get a bigger mirror.

  • Make more videos :D I can't get enough I subbed.

  • @Edsan91 Thanks man, glad you enjoy! I need a HD camera, mount and a EQ platform next. But most of all, for it to stop raining 300 days out of the year.

  • niceeee!

  • can we see the iss from the telescope? can you make an video?

  • where are all the big chunks of rock that hit the moon?

  • @sk8erlewisss still there...

  • GREAT !

  • what camera did ya use a have a 12" reflector did u use lo just droped the menu down thats class footage

  • what camera did ya use a have a 12" reflector did u use

  • Im planning on buying a telescope, how much did yours cost and where did you buy it?

  • @wordoc23 - my scope is a custom build. I got the mirror at Galaxy optics. Do a search on buying a telescope, everyone has different needs and abilities.

  • @wordoc23 -just google "buying first telescope" everyone's needs and abilities are different.

  • incredible for handheld!

  • what is that tower like object at 2:48 in the lower portion

  • @mattmatt115 Seems to be what some people call the Tower of Babel. A book was published in 1970's with pics of the moon and it had pctures of this Tower 25miles high, however when they reprinted the book in the 90's it was airbrushed out. Strange, check out Project Camelot they talk about it.

  • @pieface160 - no such tower on the moon, pure fiction.

  • @redshift40 Not according to some people.

  • @pieface160 - Doesn't mean their right or have evidence of any tower on the moon. Project Camelot has interviewed many of these nutcases, one of them lived beside me (Miriam Delicado)

  • @redshift40 Yeah i have heard of her, i respect your opinion however there is a book with these pictures and when it got published for the second time some of the pictures had been air brushed out. I like to keep an open mind and although i don't believe 70% of what i read or watch i do find a lot of project camelot interesting.

  • @pieface160 - Air brushed photos sells more books. People from all walks of life will mis-identify objects and flat out lie for whatever reasons. That is why there is no evidence of ET crafts, gods, ghosts, things on the moon etc... They are good entertainment, but that is it. There is without a doubt many other worlds in our universe with life on them, but have any made it here or the moon? I highly doubt it.

  • @redshift40 Okay well lets not spoil my fun huh? :) lol

I know it might not interest you but you should check out the disclosure project.

  • @pieface160 - There is some fun in finding the other side of the disclosure project. It's been how long now for full disclosure, free energy? Google: steven greer fraud -OR- steven greer hoax -OR- steven greer skeptic.

  • wht a wonderful universe..........

  • Man what's the song?

  • Word

  • very beautiful

  • how much is this telescope to buy

  • thats a great shot of jupiter!

  • Beautiful!!

  • tottaly a space station in that crater on the moon....

  • Very cool!!!

  • Thanks for the post. Your 12.5" is quite a performer. We've recently attended a star party here in SoCal....and there were a number of Dobs. in operation. Do you have any particular brand of eyepiece that you favor?

  • @sneakerset Thanks sneakerset, if only I could show what it looks at the eyepiece. My camera and scope is not made for astrophotography, it is 100 times clearer viewed with the naked eye.

One of the best EP's I have is the Pentax SMC. Very expensive, but worth every penny.

  • @redshift40 hah, so you're a pentaxian too?

  • It's all about manually handling the exposure and gain in the camera settings, when filming in prime focus.

  • Superb redshift thumbs up!!! :0)
