@Kristenchaos6707 i use curling rods they're like foam rods that have plastic inside the and when ur hair is wet or damp you rap ur hair around them then twist them and when you take them out your hair looks realy nice :)

I find it is easiest to use one bobbypin if I push it instead of right across, but back towards to the front of my head, so the back part of the bobbypin is holding all the hair. It's less visable this way and works well if you're short like me so everyone sees the top of your head lol. It's kinda like a V with the opening towards the front of your head. I wish I was better at explaining it, but that's what I was taught in hair school :)

velcro rollers on dry hair and sponge/rag curlers on wet or dry hair.

and hot curlers (you heat them up for ten minutes, they are plastic) you put on dry hair.

leave them in for at least 30 minutes, and then you take them out. Flip your hair over so that you are looking down and then spray it.

Then flip so you are standing up normally and spray more and the huge volume dies down to look better in about 10 minutes.

I live in ontaro too... I have naturally curly hair and in the summer it gets to be a big poof too... now i use fructis garner anti frizz serum, or the dove antifrizz cream... they both work really well and smell pretty good too.. Hope this helps :)

I have really long hair too and I find that you can use Conair's 3/4'' instant heat spiral iron.The instructions that go with it are pretty straightforward and I don't have problems with it. The best way is to use moose after a shower and hairspray after you curl it.

It worked as well as it ever will for my hair, the curls were about 4 inches shorter that my straight hair.

i think she put the rollers in so that it would not only curl it a TINY bit, but give volume to the crown. and if you have thick hair, like me, you would just section your hair a bit more and put a few more rollers in. :)

Super cute, but I would skip the wax on the bangs and just use hairspray. I find that I don't need anything adding shine to my bangs since they can easily get the oily look by the end of the night.

I used to have the same problem when I used pomade, then by the end of the day you could see my bangs shining for miles! ;)

But, with the wax- it really doesn't make them oily. And it won't make them stiff like hairspray can tend to do :)
